He actively wanted this war. "rooting for pootin" was his exact words, for the sole reason of making Biden miserable.

I keep hoping for a blood clot to put him out of our misery.

Russia's Gas Payment in Rubles Demand a 'Breach of Contract': Germany

Russia's demand for payments in rubles for gas deliveries to Europe cons utes a breach of contract, Germany warned Wednesday.

"The announcement of paying in rubles is... a breach of the contract and we will now discuss with our European partners how we would react to that," said German Economy Minister Robert Habeck, whose country imported 55 percent of its natural gas from Russia before Moscow invaded Ukraine.

Calls have been growing for Western allies to further ramp up sanctions against Moscow over its assault on Ukraine through a complete embargo of energy imports from Russia.

They're already building two new LNG terminals. They can always use their neighbors.

The only thing this demand does is actually telegraph that the Russian's economy is struggling mightily with the sanctions, and if external capital doesn't come in and prop up the ruble, they won't go far.

US needs to do it also. That's the only way this "all electric, no fossil fuels" bull will ever work.

Agreed. I think Russia's pissant economy is going to completely implode. They can't even make their own tractors, let alone tanks or warplanes without parts from the big, bad West.

If ing Europe was willing to tough it out, and REALLY support Ukraine, they would tell the Russians to right off and stop buying natgas. , I would be willing to pay higher prices for that. If past generations could fight world wars and die for freedom, we can pay a bit more for energy.

Tax the American oligarchs enough to cushion it for the poorest, and get real about economic warfare.

Doubt it was a "tank". Tanks are pretty damn sturdy even if the ammo cooks off. You would see a hull left usuaully.

My guess is an APC filled with arty ammo. That would explain the massive fireball.

It is always hard to tell from the video and to grunts, everything they blow up is a tank.

Yeah. If I had a nickel for every APC described as a "tank"...

At this point, RUS has lost, what, 10-25% of the total pre-war troop count in wounded/KIA/POW/MIA ? and probably a higher % of their tanks/APCs/Trucks.

RUS has probably tried to pour in a few replacements, but UKR has now had time for the first few waves of replacements to get through 3-4 weeks of basic training crash courses.
