A layup missed due to a hard foul not called
Didn't just beat the Nuggets, but straight up whooped them on their home floor.
Didn't see that coming.
A layup missed due to a hard foul not called
gotta say this team has really developed a lot. Beating the Nuggets on their home floor by 19 without Dejounte, McDermott (who was a starter for most of the season) and Landale? That seemed impossible a couple months ago. They are becoming one of those classic machine like Spurs teams that will carve you up if you're not on point
And it has been like this all season long. For a team with more than 10 losses than wins. Compare that with the abortion that was Aldridge and DeRozan ball, even with winning records.
The discussion took part on another thread, but this is absolutely one of the benefits of aiming for the play-in instead of tanking out the season. Great morale boost and especially so for Tre, dude played possessed tonight. Hope DJ gets back to form sooner than later though, he's the Spurs' main cog despite this win without him.
7 straight games now with 20 or more points for KJ
I'm proud of Poeltl in the 4th quarter. Sowed his hymen back up just enough to keep Jokic shorts white instead of blood red
I’d choose this team over last 3 years 100 times out of 100, night and day. If we do actually make play in, I’m gonna be legit pumped to watch those games to see what these young guys can do!
i agree 100%
regardless what happens the rest of the year, this momentum I believe will transfer to next year and we will have a much better start to the season
J-Rich hitting some big shots at the end. Tre just calming presence as primary ballhandler. Vassell hitting some solid also. Poeltl finally waking up at the end. Great game.
These Spurs youngsters have to be proud of themselves the way they are ending up the season. They'll make the playin when virtually nobody expected them to. And they have been fun to watch. Can't ask for anything else from this bunch.
The is wrong with this board, Jesus![]()
Spurs just eliminated Lakers from the playoffs.![]()
Next on the agenda: getting #9 from New Orleans.
Dominant performance. Now lets go suns
Derozan has been on an absolute tear his last 5 games 37ppg and 54/55 FT. A true win-win for both parties
phx suns 11-0 run over 2:40 now up 9
Never saw that one coming this season. Crazy.
Nice call
I don't want #9 tbh. The Spurs have been better on the road than at home this season.
And if the Pels finish ahead of the Spurs outright (no tiebreakers), the Spurs get a better draft slot. Win-win.
Oh now. You were waving the white flag a couple of weeks ago. off ill ignore you from here on out phony.
just doing my part tbh.
I have absolutely been down on tre jones all season…
but i can see tre working on his 3 pt range this coming summer and moving up a level or two
he seems to have the motor and the will…
im gonna hope he stays the course
You can get off my safely, my guy. Don't get hurt on the landing!
