I tuned in for part of the last hour. I'd never heard of Jon Batiste but he had an awesome performance. If that song was indicative of his style, I'll try to check more out.
I appreciate H.E.R. but the performance with Lenny and Travis Barker wasn't as good as it should have been. That was only a couple of minutes of her whole deal which switched around to a few songs. Her beating on the drums was pretty worthless. And Beiber did some with a couple other dudes that was bleeped out several times for about 5 seconds each. I wish they bleeped out the whole thing but that's not my kind of jams anyway.
They had some bluegrass band playing on a roof from time to time and they sounded good.

Regarding H.E.R., she seems talented and everything but I swear the only time I ever hear about her is award shows. It's like she's always one of the go-to musical acts for the Grammys (or Oscars or Globes or even the 2021 Super Bowl?) but she's not a factor at all in any music criticism or other discussion that I consume or anything I listen to. I guess she even got some nominations?
I have a pretty big bubble when it comes to music and she's just never penetrated it. It's weird.
