    Wait just one minute hater.

China is avoiding new Russian oil contracts despite steep discounts and Beijing's friendly relations with Vladimir Putin, according to a Wednesday Reuters report.

While China has refrained from penalizing Russia for its war on Ukraine, state refiners are falling in line with Beijing's recent call for caution by not signing new contracts as the West imposes sanctions.

The refiners will continue to honor existing Russian contracts, but sources told Reuters that government-run Sinopec, the largest refiner in Asia, as well as CNOOC, PetroChina, and Sinochem have all skipped on trading fresh Russian cargoes for May deliveries.

    Washington Post article.

Russian forces have fully withdrawn from the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, and the city of Chernihiv to its north, the Pentagon said Wednesday, as Moscow prepares to concentrate its invading forces in the eastern part of the country.

“We are assessing that all of the Russians have left,” said a senior U.S. defense official, speaking on condition of anonymity under terms set by the Pentagon. The Pentagon had confirmed the full departure only in the last 24 hours, this person said, cautioning that Russian forces may have left mines in their wake that would still need to be cleared.

Single Ukrainian tank taking on an entire russian column and kicking ass, just like the "0-forever" Suns did to the lakers post-season last night. Ukrainian artillery joined the fun later on but russians had enough and just fled.

The whole U.S. side of this thing has been a facade of trying to outdo Putin. He got in their head to start with on the (Nazi angle) and we've been playing catch up ever since.

Then they broke our ass on us making chemical weapons with Z in Z'land and that was the living end. We ain't stopped lying since.

Gettin' our nose rubbed in it like this is fascinating.

I wasn’t close to dying. Just close to what seemed like insanity. But yeah…I’m back to feeling myself. The thing that always grounded me was Kobe’s helicopter fiasco.

Seriously though…if you calculate the amount of helicopter wrecks vs the amount of helicopter rides that Kobe took, it’s scary. Way higher than any COVID . At least now, I’ll know not to take a helicopter ride with Kobe. Or a plane ride with the Big Bopper.

Perhaps, but you thought you were. You didn't want to HAVE to make that trek down to that hospital with the folks...

..."Ma, you can't go in with me. They won't let you, or, pops. I'll have to call, ma."

Pops, sittin' there, quiet, not a word, figuring it. He knew that before ya's ever left the house.

You figure more than a million have died, right? Right. Perhaps 1/2-a-million drove that aforementioned nightmare ride.

You never think it'll happen to you, or, like me:::you obsess over it as a sort of defense mechanism. "If I ruminate and obsess over it, say it out loud before I board this ing plane then it won't happen to me. I don't know why the I let her talk me into flying on this ing plane. Never ing again, GD it. Why, Dale, why, why did I agree to this."

It was most likely Kobe's finest moment; that clarity of recognition that it was not going to work out; he enveloped her close.

    Snitches get $$$$$$$$

Ratting Out Russian Assets For Potentially $5 Million Is The Only Time You Should Talk To The Feds.

Normally, if you’re staring down a suit from the feds, you’re going to want to clam up and call a lawyer. The only time this advice doesn’t hold true is when you can both make up to $5 million and screw over a Russian oligarch, or at least a treasonous American in their employ, at the same time.

It’s called the Kleptocracy Asset Recovery Rewards Program and here’s how it works: any American not employed by a foreign, state, federal or local government can call the tip line at +1- 202-622-2050 or send an email to [email protected].

The feds will keep callers’ iden y confidential, but tipsters also can’t be involved in anything too shady themselves. If the tip leads to the seizure, forfeiture or reparation of stolen Russian assets affected by U.S. sanctions, you get a reward of up to $5 million, depending on what the Interagency Review Committee decides the asset in question is worth though the Secretary of State and Attorney General have final say on the amount.

Here’s what qualifies as tip material:

The Secretary of the Treasury has statutory authority to offer rewards up to a maximum of $5,000,000 for information leading to the (1) the restraint or seizure (2) forfeiture or (3) repatriation of stolen assets in an account at a U.S. financial ins ution (including a U.S. branch of a foreign financial ins ution), that come within the United States, or that come within the possession or control of any U.S. person.

    [...]

By statute, the term “stolen assets” means financial assets within the jurisdiction of the United States cons uting, derived from, or traceable to, any proceeds obtained directly or indirectly from foreign government corruption. The term “financial assets” means funds, investments, or ownership interests, that, after January 1, 2021, come within the United States or that come within the possession or control of any U.S. person.
