Don't forget what Memphis did the following year (i.e., this year) after winning two play-in games. They played in from the #9 seed last year and made the playoffs.

This year they're the #2 seed at 56-26.

For the Spurs to make a leap, I would guess that Dejounte has to improve further (outside shooting) and Keldon has to become a proven 20ppg scorer, and then we still need another solid player who can score. No offense, Yak.
