Honestly a beat down here wouldn’t be a bad thing for the Spurs imo. Shows the FO, Pop and players they have a long way to go. And especially it should show the FO the teams gaping holes (4-man, defense, rebounding, IQ) need to be fixed in the draft and off season trades/free agency.
IMO you always learn things in game like this. Defense and physicality plus nerves aren’t the same as the regular season. This is a different kind of beast. Some players mature and get betters others don’t and you move on from them. I hope.

The play in is ing worthless and meant for teams/fans that can’t accept that their team is not good enough to make the playoffs so they want to watch one game to tell us what we already know. Other than the Grizzlies beating Golden state last year and I can see the Hawks beating the Cavs (although that’s not much of an “upset”), the play in has played out exactly like the seedlings should have been anyways.
Your totally ignoring the lead up to get to that play in. Too many teams would have called quits 15 games ago. Spurs played well to get into that 10th spot. It was a great achievement for the team and they needed that experience.

And you bring up grizzlies. They straight up said that play in which they lost to the blazers was a huge learning experience.

We all talked about playoff or play-in experience...

Well, getting your ass kicked will surely wake you up. Hopefully this will help him learn in the long run

I guess the context is that Primo is 4 years younger than Herbert. If he grows to that size he has more upside.

Those that are saying that Murray should never be traded, do yall still want to build this team around him?
No, he needs to be moved. Spurs should be on a five year plan to upgrade the team with so he doesn't factor into that long range plan.

Well, it's been a fun season.

I'll still watch the game in bed but this is over.

Who wants to start the draft thread?

This is way better than a top 3 pick.
