Regardless of politics, how did anyone think this would work? We’re all bombarded with news 24/7. I don’t really know what you got for $8 per month. I think there was a Rex Chapman show. But damn. Imo. People stream to get away from the real world.

Just the start of the thorough house cleaning that is taking place over there. And it is long overdue.

Not really the point. I will say that they’ve become a lot less biased in reporting the news. Which is really all I want. BBC is still good. I used to go to Reuters but now they’re behind a paywall after you read so many articles.

Pretty pathetic but they are restructuring everything there at AT&T/TimeWarner or so it seems. You'll probably see all the CNN content on HBO Max, which I actually like.

Yeah…HBO Max is pretty good. It’s one that I don’t cancel. They always seem to have something good coming up. I kind of always compare the prices to going to see a movie. If I can get several hours of decent content, then I’m OK paying for it. For now anyway. As to CNN, I think the best thing they did was the Decades docs. The 60’s, the 70’s, etc.

Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown is pretty good too, a show that seems completely unrelated to the kind of content CNN is known for.

You musta been watching it when you weren't feeling up to snuff, SfS. They're just as biased and slanted as they've always been, even worse since Trump is still a free man.

You can never know if it’ll work until you try. Still this little mistake cost them 300 million cool ones. Lol

Dumb idea though. Your channel already is doing what you tried doing so it was worthless.

Haven't looked at CNN in quite a while. When these MSM news gangs started talking more about themselves and other news sites than about actual news, I started reading Al Jazeera and other sites around the world. When the story is how this particular event can be spun to favor one side of the political spectrum, it's not news.

Good one. I wasn't aware of how great it was when it came out and ended up watching it on other platforms. I never thought of it as a CNN show but you're right.

As far as news goes, I think they're fine. But like Fox, anytime, they have a panel, you know what you're going to get.

& that's the fun part once you set your mind to it. One talks while the others nod. Then the next one talks and the others nod. After each has had their say, the host says something kinda under their breath to insult Trump, whether he's the form of the discussion or, not. Then everybody nods and they pull to a commercial.
