I brought up genitals because we are biologically one or the other; a male or female. I didn't bring it up as if it's an indicator of our sex/gender and thus why I said even as kids it was easy to identify our sex/gender without looking in our pants and anyone with common sense would agree with that.

I'd have to agree though that gender in terms of feminine vs masculine have existed for a long time, in both sexes at the same time. We all know feminine guys and masculine girls.
