Problem is, if they let Harden walk all they have is the MLE to replace him. Which might not be enough to get Oladipo. Harden really has Morey over a table here.
Why cant Luka make his team of low picks and undrafted players better and beat the best team in the nba?
Bullock 25th
Brunson - 33rd
Dinwiddie - 38th
Bertans - 42nd
Powell - 45th
Kleber - undrafted
DFS - undrafted
Like i said before, Dallas has done nothing to make the team better the past 3 years and Cuban is re ed with thinking these bunch of role players are any good. His next mistake will be giving that midget Brunson a giant contract.
Doncic does hae to come to the next season in better shape, but, Dallas also better get rid of most of this roster, cause this aint gonna win them .
Wow, I hadn’t appreciated this. Brutal. They also whiffed on Dennis Smith, a lotto pick, badly.
The Grizzlies failed like Spurs did when it comes to controlling the narrative in the media and allowed the Warriors to shape the narrative. Spurs made the mistake when Pop didn't call out Zaza immediately after the dirty play on Kawhi. Granted even if the league suspended Zaza it still wouldn't have helped the Spurs but Pop ended up looking foolish a few days later after he originally said the foul by Zaza wasn't dirty. By then the Warriors had already set the media narrative that it was an accident and the media ate it all up.
Grizzlies needed to fire back immediately at Kerr when he started pushing the narrative "Brooks broke the code." They should have called the Warriors out on their hypocrisy about Draymond and Zaza in the past along with claiming what Brooks did was an accident. The media is stupid you can sway them if you put out an argument immediately, but the Grizzlies didn't do this and the media ended up pressuring the NBA to suspend Brooks.
Brooks could still have gotten suspended, but the Grizzlies did not fight at all to prevent it which was pathetic. Ultimately the media is the jury when it comes to punishments. The NBA will cave to them 9 out of 10 times. It's why Draymond has gotten away with so much . I still remember Stephen A and these clowns slurping him and screaming he shouldn't get suspended when he kicked Steven Adams in the nuts back in the '16 playoffs. and the league ended up not suspending him.

The amount of SAGirl bad takes in this thread is alarming.. dear god..
Welcome back friend. How have you been?
I occasionally have my moments like everyone.![]()
I remember watching this in real time and thinking WTF? But of course there wasn’t a replay.
I think CP3 is getting an excessive favorable whistle which makes me not care for him, but at the same time it almost guarantees this is the year he finally wins that championship, unless his hamstring acts up at the most inopportune time. And he’s been very careful only pushing the gas on the 4th. I am basically prepared for the eventuality that this is the Suns year. It can’t be ignored that this is what Dallas is up against.
not moments. you simply don't know crap about basketball![]()
Greens foul was no different than brooks foul
is green getting suspended?
…and didnt i say the warriors would be gifted one or two games?
kinda feels like the league wants to ring cp3 on his way out.
State Farm promised to take their ing atrocious ad campaigns off the air, so the NBA has to do it. For humanity.
it happens to the best of us
Not a fair statement, tbh. Certainly don't agree with hers or everyone else's takes all the time but she's most definitely not ignorant about the game.
using superficial knowledge to speak on aspects of the game one does not understand is ignorant tbqhfwiwimhoiirc
Now you are just coming across as a baby tbh. Don’t normally respond to trolls, but I think you are legit hurt by the criticism to Doncic. You’ll get over it.

no, you legitimately just dont know jack about basketball. you should go back read how inconsistent your posts have been through this thread
i love luka however its pretty well do ented here that ive been very quick to point out his flaws as well. but to say that ja is a better player in the clutch because of one game (while conveniently forgetting how badly he sucked in the clutch the game before) is completely re ed. to then blame luka for the mavs not being able to hang with the suns in the 2nd half is even more stupid when he is getting ran off the 3pt line by his defender, then immediately doubled and tripled as soon as he gets within 18 feet of the basket. the suns gameplan is pretty obvious, let luka do what he wants in the 1st half, wear him out by being physical, and dont let the other guys get into any rhythm, then completely blitz him in the 2nd half, force the teammates to win the game (which they obviously cant), and take advantage of him being tired by running him through relentless picks and have quick guards attack him (the only kinds of players he really cant defend). come 2nd half, the teammates HAVE to be able to exploit the defense. if they can't manage to hit wide open shots and attack late closeouts, its 100% their fault, not lukas, and its stupid to even remotely suggest otherwise.
there is still plenty of series left, things can change quickly. but so far, the suns gameplan has worked to perfection. the supporting cast has to step up, otherwise it doesnt matter how close the game is through 3 quarters, the 4th quarter will just continue to work in the suns favor because they are solely focused on eliminating luka's contributions at that point.
but sure, feel free to keep using some empty headed reasoning like "durhrhrhrh luka isnt doing good enough in the 4th, he should be able to score over 3 defenders if hes truly a superstar player, JA COULD PROBABLY DO IT, I MEAN HE IS DOING IT AGAINST WEAKER DEFENDERS IN ONE ON ONE SITUATIONS SO I BET HE COULD DO IT AGAINST THE TRAP HAPPY DEFENSES LUKA IS SEEING dhduhrhrurhrh"
^ I am wishing Doncic well. Hoping the games in Dallas are more compe ive. I really wish the game was called fairly but after seeing what I have seen with the CP3 favoring I don’t expect it.
————————
Actually came here to share that there’s now a possibility that Embiid plays. Originally it seemed like a definitive no, but now there’s this:
And yea, I am super high on Ja and think that his ability to take over a game in the 4th is something that becomes crucial in the playoffs and definitely stands out.It was impressive the last game for sure, but the Grizz have made come backs in the first round as well. He’s been putting numbers in the 4th Q that are eye opening.
In comparison to that Doncic has been underwhelming. But I haven’t taken into account the context that is the Suns. Luka definitely looks gassed by the 4th. Something will have to give. I’d really want to see some kind of adjustment to save him some for the 4th but I don’t know if Kidd is a coach that can make that kind of adjustment.

I have the Grizzlies scheduled for a loss next game btw. Combination of factors, Dillon not being available, GSW start double teaming Ja, like in this video below, and the fact GSW has been shooting subpar for their standards. I think they’ll have a hot shooting game like they are capable of, and the Grizz others wont show up on the road. Despite his flaws, Dillon can create off the dribble and he wont play. I also expect GSW will stay dialed in on Bane.
We shall see, but for me its a scheduled Grizz loss. Might even be a demoralizing blowout.
Traveling. Turnover but no call
Changing the subject again, there is a ton going on with several playoff teams, but the Embiid thing worries me.
Hes still listed as out, but apparently wants to play. I am scared for him that this will not end well.
Its a different set of injuries from those I reference but give me that same bad feeling, Kawhi returning to play in the WCF in 2017 against GSW while nursing an injury and getting Zaza’d, and Durant also returning from injury in the Finals in 2019 and then rupturing his Achilles. It just gives me a bad feeling. As much as Id like to see him play I hope his coach is wise about this.
Edit: the Embiid thing is generating a lot of comments from the media.

^ well for once a player is putting his mans pants in POs instead of chickening out...
I understand not taking risks for a young dude playing for a team with no chance at winning but Embiid is 28 y/o, Harden is close to be finished. They have a shot at a LOB (even if it is a slim one) that maybe will never present itself again in their career, that's the moment to go for it
The big pelotas on Jimmy Butler. Have always liked him, even though hes got a controversial personality. If Joel returns that series will be very interesting. They used to be teammates too. Hindsight is 20/20 but they should have kept Jimmy and shipped out Ben back then….
