This is such an interesting time. It's obvious the state of the ruble is not based on private investments, new import/export markets, or growth. They are manipulating exports by insisting on the exchange currency and a lot of state investment that is not persistent tangible assets but instead buying the currency more or less straight up at rates which could end up being a huge loss.
They're not winning in Ukraine and they have to be hemorrhaging cash with how corrupt they are. I want to see how long Russia can keep this up.
