Never could get into Halo. Bought Halo 2 along with Oblivion and 2k6 when I got my 360 in 06 but kept getting bored with the game so never tried the later Halo series.

I prefer 3rd person, tbh... but the game itself matters...
will forever hold a place in my memory cause hearing this made me laugh for like 20 minutes, that rapture DLC though. Ruined the story part one was decent enough, but then they had to go and it up.
Watching the XBox-Bethesda Showcase and you'd think XBox would do a high quality 4k stream to advertise their games but it's a very noisy 1080p picture.

Starfield looks pretty ambitious. Definitely the second best thing by far shown off in these summer reveals. With the #1 thing of course being Persona 5 Royal to PC, will be Day 1 buy so I can play it in Japanese.
That PlayStation new tier subscription is live. I must say, looks very inviting.
The second tier looks like a no brainer. Has Miles Morales, RDR2, Ghost of Tsushima, Guardians of the Galaxy etc included.

But have not played the DLC of Ghost. I’m not a fan of paying for separate DLCs that are half the price of the actual game. That’s why I wait for GOTY editions so everything is included at a mega cheap price.
Unless I can download PC games like I can with Gamepass I see no reason to use their subscription service tbh
It's all downloads except for the PS3 games, which are streamed.
The new PS+ is awesome RDR 2 the GOAT, Ghost Tsushima, AC: Valhalla on and on great games
Someone tried streaming Red Dead Redemption 1 and it was a laggy mess. Doesn’t seem promising.
Better to stick with the PS4/5 games.
really? i streamed RDR1 when i had my free trial of psnow or whatever that was on my PS4 and it worked just fine
Yeah it could just be first day server overloads but it didn't look great.
A bit weird you can download PS4 and 5 games but not PS3s.

Because PS5 can play PS5 and PS4 games in hardware but would have to emulate PS3 games, with the CELL making PS3 emulation a nightmare. Even though the PS5 has a really nice cpu in it, it's below recommended requirements for RPCS3 and games like inFAMOUS 1-2 and RDR1 run kind of crap on even high end cpus like the i9-12900k in RPCS3. And it would take Sony years to make a PS3 emulator as good as RPCS3. Plus a PS3 emulator could be a real security threat for the PS5.
I don't know about that. Not saying it's easy, but you would really want all the SPE's to run on the GPU. It was something I really wanted to tackle at some point, but it didn't happen.
You ever delve into the emulator realm of programming before? Pretty rad how much you know about programming El.
