I want to keep my guns but I agree with him from a strategic standpoint. Anyone serious about curbing gun crime has to curb gun ownership. It won't curb crime, but it will curb gun related crime. All these placebo suggestions like Biden wanting to ban 9mm ammo production after an event where 5.56 was used is really really ing worthless. I don't have to hope they succeed but I hope they try. It's encouraging to see American politicians courageous enough with career sacrifice to do what they feel needs to be done. This is really why many Americans voted for Trump in 2016, to get done what they wanted to get done. If they just wanted someone to be a name on a congressional voting record, that can be anyone more concerned about their career in politics than in doing what needs to be done.

I've been consistent about grabbing assault rifles the whole way. Common sense regulation of everything else would save a lot of lives, I'm for that too. The danger to public health posed by firearms needs to be curbed.

The Uvalde Police Department and the Uvalde Independent School District police force are no longer cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Safety's investigation into the massacre at Robb Elementary School and the state's review of the law enforcement response, multiple law enforcement sources tell ABC News.
