I'm all for that. You do away with FOPA and suddenly automatics are back on the table. Get after it. , every agency in the US has my background and fingerprint data already. Wouldn't bother me.
But for some reason you seem to not get the concept of a firearm being untraceable. You cannot know who has a gun and who does not, because they are not registered. You haven't even touched how you'd enforce this. I mean, you can stick by your non sequiturs about good guys and laws all you like, since you likely consider laws to be good.
Only to denote B&W.
tee, hee.
we have seen bans of weapons enacted and enforced in other countries. we have not seen index finger bans implemented. we have seen gun measures work in other countries. i'd rather go with the model of what has been proven to work, but you go on your index finger ban crusade
thats just the low hanging fruit. ive already set forth some possible measures that could or should be implemented
never said anything about automatics being on the table.
you compel registration. make it a law that everyone has to register weapons they own. will everybody do it? no, of course not. i imagine many will. get as many weapons registered as you can and go from there.
FOPA prohibits creating a federal database on firearms and owners.
Repeal it.
Easy peasy.
Get to it.
Want to see some low hanging fruit examples rn? Can a man be a woman or a woman be a man? Answer the question bro.
you are the low hanging fruit. in a couple of different ways.
now go angrily flail some more
Lol "automatics are back on the table"
Will bazookas be on the table too?
So you won't answer the question...![]()
The Act also forbade the U.S. Government agency from keeping a registry directly linking non-National Firearms Act firearms to their owners, the specific language of this law (Federal Law 18 U.S.C. 926) being:
No such rule or regulation prescribed [by the Attorney General] after the date of the enactment of the Firearms Owners Protection Act may require that records required to be maintained under this chapter or any portion of the contents of such records, be recorded at or transferred to a facility owned, managed, or controlled by the United States or any State or any political subdivision thereof, nor that any system of registration of firearms, firearms owners, or firearms transactions or disposition be established. Nothing in this section expands or restricts the Secretary's authority to inquire into the disposition of any firearm in the course of a criminal investigation.
Nevertheless, at one point the ATF's National Tracing Center (NTC) contained hundreds of millions of firearm tracing and registration records, and consisted of several databases; but as of May 2016, many of these databases have been deleted to fall inline with record deletion requirements, per the Government Accountability Office (GAO).[17]
1. Multiple Sale Reports. In accordance with the Gun Control Act of 1968, Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs) are required to report the sale of multiple handguns to the same person within 24 hours or within five consecutive business days,[18] a program overseen by the ATF and reported through ATF Form 3310.4, which requires disclosure of the firearms sold and new owner and address. The program is used by the ATF to detect, investigate and prevent firearms trafficking. Reported as 4.2 million records in 2010.[19]
2. Suspect Guns. All guns suspected of being used for criminal purposes and that "may or may not be in the possession of an LEA (law enforcement agency)."[20] This database includes (ATF's own examples[citation needed]), individuals purchasing large quan ies of firearms, and dealers with improper record keeping. May include guns observed by law enforcement in an estate, or at a gun show, or elsewhere.[citation needed] Reported as 34,807 in 2010.[19]
3. Traced Guns. Over 4 million detail records from all traces since inception.[19] This is a registration record which includes the personal information of the first retail purchaser, along with the iden y of the selling dealer.
4. Out of Business Records. Data is manually collected from paper out of business records (or input from computer records) and entered into the trace system by ATF. These are registration records which include name and address, make, model, serial and caliber of the firearm(s), as well as data from the 4473 form - in digital or image format. In March, 2010, ATF reported receiving several hundred million records since 1968.[21]
5. Theft Guns. Firearms reported as stolen to ATF. Contained 330,000 records in 2010.[19] Contains only thefts from licensed dealers and interstate carriers (optional).[19] Does not have an interface to the FBI's National Crime Information Center (NCIC) theft data base, where the majority of stolen, lost and missing firearms are reported.
Come on SR21 answer that simple question.
Grenades and rocket launchers, also known as bazookas, are considered "destructive devices" by the National Firearms Act. They are also classified as firearms and are therefore legal with proper registration.
Low information poster strikes out again
They call everyone else low info but they're all the same losers who bought into RussiaGate and Jussie's lynching, et al.![]()
So bazookas need to be registered but registration for firearms is an impossibility.
DMC's hands will shake posting his next fail.
Call the law offices of Shaky and Blakey, wannabe attorney and her sidekick.
Well , we can't do anything about acts, so I guess we're out of options.
your FOPA and your toys.
How gun nerds think they sound online.
How they actually sound.

You certainly can repeal it. In the process you will be repealing the ban on the manufacture and sale of automatic firearms. Knock yourself out, miss.
You and a few others here are unwittingly being educated on existing gun laws. You can thank me later.
DMC shaking as he realizes parts of acts can be repealed.
