NPR did some interviews with various school officials trying to figure out what to lock and keep open.
Apparently as we learn more the locking in thing can be horrible depending on how the buildings are configured and what the administration and school security need to do with an active shooter.
Some of these school campuses will not stop from being massive because its not cost effective. So there are lots of ways in and out. And looking at how to configure schools safely depending on their size and surroundings is an absolute mess.
So then you respect the understanding that locked doors do not keep bad guys out.
Because this aint just a hunting issue.
