    Denver team missing vital players

Memphis team that was pretty good but unseasoned

Dallas team way out of its league

Boston team without a lot of talent and a one-trick offense

Weakest run to a championship ever?
It was a weak conference, but they clearly better than anyone other than the Suns. But it wasn't like 2015 where they just played injured teams

That's the way I look at it. I believe they will draft at least one interesting prospect.

Didn’t bother watching the last 2 games of this show season. Since the Spurs won’t be there next year I’m hoping Memphis or New Orleans can go put this warrior bunch to sleep. Not gonna hold my breath though.

Their most recent le run reminds me of the '07 Spurs le run. I always felt that one was the weakest out of the 5 le runs. Spurs lucked out avoiding Dallas who was a bad match up, the Suns stupidly blew their chance with suspensions, and they played two inexperienced grossly less talented teams in the Jazz and Cavs. Warriors lucked out playing Nuggets without their full team and then lucked out playing 3 straight opponents who were all inexperienced and got some breaks with Ja getting injured and Brooks getting suspended. They also avoided the Bucks.

Warriors with Kuminga, Wiseman and Moody in the wings. These guys still have a 3-4yr window, especially if Klay puts something together again.

Klay will never be the same player again after those 2 major injuries he suffered. He's going to get worse rapidly every year.

If you start down this road every champion in the past few years has an asterisk of some kind. A ring is a ring and they have 4 in 8 years. I am no their fan but have to recognize what they accomplished tonight.

Please. Their's haven't been your typical breaks that most champions get, as I've detailed many times. Between that and the begging of the second best player of this era to join them, they still lack credibility.

You're lucky I don't have the time or I'd further eviscerate this post.

I will say this not all champions are created equal. Warriors never beat a legit opponent that was at 100 percent during their le runs. Celtics I will say was at full strength but they weren't a legit opponent like what the Spurs dealt with in taking out the Lakers in '03, Pistons in '05, Thunder an Heat in '14.

Meh, not even mad the warriors won again. Doesn’t matter what the media or casuals say, the Spurs were still a dynasty during the Duncan era and he will always be highly regarded by credible people.

You forgot the most important one: Milwaukee.

If Middleton doesn’t miss that entire 7-game series vs Boston, I think Bucks repeat this year. They were a much better team than Boston imo, and matched up better with GS. Even warriors fans were saying that was the one team they didn’t wanna face. They would’ve had no answer for Giannis and the Bucks’ size down low.

congrats to the Warriors ... just hate that during the course of these Finals Curry/Thompson/Green surpassed our Big Three regarding most Finals wins as a trio... damn

He obviously isn’t going to get back to old Kkay but the Warriors are well positioned to prolong his career. He is barely back from 2yrs out of basketball. He will probably look much better next year

Warriors now have 7 championships to the spurs 5 GS gets bonus points for repeating, something the spurs never managed to accomplish

Amazing achievement how Golden State managed to rapidly surpass the spurs organization in less than a decade

Well, one good thing I can say is that the Spurs trio had the record in 5 finals, whereas it took the Warriors 6 finals series to tie and then break it.

No way. Duncan is easily in the 5-8 spot. If Steph kicks anybody out of top 10, it's either Kobe or Kareem.

No he won’t be better next year. With an ACL and Achilles you don’t get better you just keep declining. He will be worse than what was this year heading into next year.
