I kind of feel like KD, achilles injury KD, just feels like a risk not worth taking for most teams. He's 33. How many years as a dominant player post achilles injury? I can't see him being good beyond 34 and last playoffs he was mighty awful, albeit against a great Boston defense.
Big factor here. He’s not Lebron. He doesn’t have much years left

Right. Durant was healthy and ready to play in the playoffs this year and was terrible. It's almost for the best for Brooklyn to move him to an excited team. Look forward to the Suns having another PO meltdown next year while Paul and Kevin look at one another stupefied.

Miles Bridges's agent was salivating at his commission on the next contract. What could possibly go wrong...whoops. Couldn't wait two weeks to engage in domestic assault?

Spurs will only fill their payroll with high priced contracts that bring draft picks and then negotiate a buy out. Do not expect free agent signings.

How? Durant wouldn't have Atlanta on his list.
Still teams would be thinking twice with their FRP’s for a dream of landing KD, diminishing the numbers of bidders. Supply <<< diminishing demand.

Would not be surprised to see ESPN floating Westbrook for Durant trade ideas tomorrow morning

I don’t mind having it actually. I think it would allow the Spurs to bring back a player with a salary closer to 20M to entice the another team to give up an asset for space.

Thinking of a Connolly type who has 18M each of next two years.

Woj reporting KD and Kyrie still want to play together just not in Brooklyn Is a team really gonna trade for both? That‘s a mega trade. Spurs should play facilitator for sure

I rather see both suffer career ending injuries. So toxic for organizations

The immediate impact of the Murray trade is that it pretty much kills any excitement for Free Agency now.

Spurs will probably pick up some bad contracts and guys who won't play...and if we do pick up an exciting FA then this place is gonna go ballistic on the front office.

the Spurs can come out of this free agency with a ton of assets. Teams will have to dump so much salary and we have what now? Over 40 million in cap space? Plus J-Rich, Poeltl and McDermott to move. Wright could easily get another 3-4 picks

Ate there even any exciting FA's on the market that aren't committed?

I still think working out something for Ayton would've been interesting but that ship has obviously sailed. It would make zero sense for the Spurs to bring him in now
