Apparently Brunson has agreed to 4 years and $110M with NY without hearing the Dallas pitch...Shams

Not predicting any big splash but then again it's a new age for SA and traditional tendencies have been deviated from recently. Plus we have tons of assets and flexibility. If the right proposals come along that fit the timeline and preserve flexibility we will probably see SA let it fly.
Mostly looking for young upside and future draft capitol inbound.
Spurs just pulled Lonnie's QO. I wonder what Wright got up his sleeves? Spurs included Landale to quickly get the DJ trade done, now they pull the QO for Lonnie to open up more cap space. There's gotta be something brewing
*capital sorry been watching these hearings lol
Taking some bad contracts plus signing some guys ala Jalen Smith.
figure it has to be a trade. no point withdrawing his offer during the moratorium period anyway
Still think he signs for the vet minimum? I’d be open to a wager if you want to put money on it.
Other teams' execs on phone to Wright:
"Quite the off-season you're having. What do you have up your sleeves I wonder?"
Wright: "Arms? No, legs. Wait wait wait .... Arms."
Almost $40M available right now...surely we'll deploy alot of it to acquire picks..
I'm going on record too as saying alot of people here are going to be surprised at the contract LW gets...he's going to get a good contract..
hopefully with a whole lot of draft capital coming our way
Totally, i cannot edit my post lol
KD just requested out of Brooklyn. Bring him home to Texas for 4 years.
Maybe Poeltl can be sent to Phoenix if they swap Ayton for KD. They have all their own future picks, but no extra picks either.
Yeah I agree, I think someones going to take a chance on him and give him a nice bag. Who knows he might do a lot better next year with a change of scenery and a different coaching approach.
Spurs and Indy are two of the few teams that can facilitate a trade for the Nets. Not acquiring Durant or Irving, but being a third or fourth team in the deal and getting back assets. That’s probably why Marks cleared the decks of Walker’s QO and Jock.
Watch us pull one over on everyone and sign Ayton and trade for Kyrie lol....I'm joking
Nice. It would have been awkward to go into free agency with the past in mind.
Spurs have been saying that for four years. I don't see a plan. All I see is draft, develop, trade for picks, draft, develop, trade for picks, etc. It's a Neverending cycle that has the Spurs no different than any other bottom feeder.
"Look at this dumbass signing I'm about to make"
As a UFA he will. Folks on ST generally still act as if the salary cap is $60 mil.
