Wesley = Summer League Westbrook tbh![]()

Wesley was the Offensive rebound that led to the Primo assisted Barlow 22ft jumper at the shot clock buzzer
good energy even when his shot is off and his drives are fizzling at the rim
I found it interesting how Tony said he was in town to scout for his French team. I never realized that summer league was a great place for Euroleague scouts to identify players for their own teams, but it makes perfect sense.
Players in summer league aren't only auditioning for the NBA, but for other leagues around the world.
Primo has not improved at all going on his second year.
Issue seems worse today with Primo getting past his guy and having no plan with what to do after. He's not driving for the team, hes just driving to drive and he doesn't get that concept yet. By time he realizes he has to do something with the ball, the passing lanes are closed and his defender has closed. Experience of course will help that, but it's a glaring weakness right now. Defender can just let him drive past because he isn't making good choices after.
Days is killing it right now
As much as we’re critiquing some of our players, the Warriors right now are even worse
Darius Days is intriguing tbh. Fun player to watch in SL.
Our guys have played like ass and we’re winning lol
Our scrubs are killing it![]()
Darius Days plays exactly how a tweener forward should...hope he sticks around
Seems like Primo got some deliberate off ball time to start the game. Wes was bring the ball up early on, yet I can't say Primo really didn't much with that look.
I’m throwing in the towel on SL. Watching Spurs Summer league is just ing depressing. Ample opportunity to watch these guys play during the regular season.
too bad no Sochan.
Primo has made a number of passes that lead to 3's for the team. It's true he's having trouble blowing by his man, but at least he's able to pass it to open (or semi-open) shooters.
Yea Primo 2-7 that half for 6 pts.
Wesley 3/12 for 8 pts. Not good. But we’re still up 14 at half.
Darius Days and DJ Stewart have impressed the most. Hopefully Branham gets more involved in the 2nd half.
Probably doing yourself a favor.
Very frustrating. Also switching hands when attempting the pass too… I’m sorry son you just don’t have that kind of athleticism required to make those kind of plays on the regular.
The more I’m watching Wesley, the more I think he could be on the main squad next year.
He needs to have some TP type, rookie year assimilation. May be up to the challenge.
Only player who has a chance of consistently beating his initial defender next to Tre Jones tbh.
Some people are a little hard on Wesley, finally a Spurs rookie who can drive to the basket at will. The rest of his game will improve over time.
I hated him doing this, in game one he was also doing that. Once you leave the ground you are trapped. Not sure why the coaching staff do not stop him doing that.
Primo might be the only 19 year old in history where coaches have serious concerns if “the game slows down for him”…
That is not good if Wesley is the only player on the team who can beat his man.
This is a problem for the spurs, the team lacks quickness and athleticism.
Wesley is a beast, man. Full package. Athletic player who can already shoot
Wesley plays like a dog at least doesn’t put his down when things aren’t going in
