How does Russian people step in? it's a dictatorship, anybody raising their voices are either jailed if not killed.
Joe isn't going anywhere, and whoever follows him will continue supporting Ukraine with everything they need. That goes beyond who's president, but it's a matter of geopolitics. The only question is if whoever comes in actually decides to put boots on the ground or not.
This war ends with Russia bending over. Whether that happens in the battlefield, a change of regime there, like the Cold War, or China no longer holding their hand, is yet to be seen. The only thing time will do to this war is continue destroying Russia's economy, which was not great to begin with.
