The media turned on Clinton, but not on day one. They waited till he was in his 2nd term to go after him. Prior to that they mostly ignored his flaws/history and fawned over him the same way they do with every Democratic POTUS.
I'm more in the DeSantis camp and hope that Trump does not run again, but since the libs are asking why Trumpers would go to the gates of for him, I provided the answer. Obama was extremely divisive. He loved to lecture conservatives on how he thinks we should think....(unpatriotic, and apologizing for our own existence).
I do wonder what his Presidency would have looked like if Mitch chose to help him get a few W's, though. I hypothesize that the reason he was such a divisive lecturer of conservatives was because he felt that old white guy politicians with racial hang ups are against him. Maybe he would have been much more pleasant to listen to if Obamacare passed with 15 (R) votes.

Either media coerces or it doesn't. It's not like only conservative media coerces conservatives into fascism but other media doesn't coerce its listeners into anything they weren't already.
