I will still think he is guilty as , but I suspect this will come down to where and when a President can declassify do ents which would ultimately land in the Supreme Court years from now. DOJ may decide its not worth it.
    why do you think so?

I'm not "both sides" this for trump, but the primary argument, especially from Cuck Blake is "the DOJ didnt charge her so she didn't break the law". Just asking if the same standard will apply if DOJ doesn't charge Trump.
Looks like if you don't meet all the elements of the crime, you haven't committed the crime.

Personally I think Garland crossed his own Rubicon on this when the concealed do ents were found. This is so egregious I can't see his letting it go.

This will all be moot anyway…

    other investigations of

a coup attempt, seditious conspiracy, racketeering, election fraud, etc
will also end the traitors political career…

Breaking government departmental rules is not the same thing as breaking the law, CuckmicCuckboy. They also found no intent with Hillary. I'm not sure how you can say Trump was just being sloppy with these classified docs lying around his Mar a Lago bedroom floor.

Next line for the "but her email" crew is usually "something smells fishy here" in regards to the evidence.

    Red herring

Reportedly the classification power has nothing to do with the Presidential Records Act or the Espionage Act. According to the former, all presidential records belong to the National Archives when the president'sterm is over; under the latter, national defense information of any kind -- classified or declassified -- is protected.

Also obstruction, but he might be able to throw Tweedledee and Tweedledum under the bus for that.

I agree there are all sorts of possibilities to charge if they are so inclined, the question is if they will do it. Going after a former President on the Presidential Records Act is a of a precedent and is going to look blatantly political. They may want to avoid that now that the records are safe.

He's lazy. Probably absorbed it ambiently from cable TV or his Trumpalo buddies.

CC thinks anything that pops into his head to say must be right.

    "Riots in the streets."

Bring it on. We might as well get the civil war out of the way. If it's not this it's going to be something else.

And saying this is only about the records act is dishonest.

not prosecuting ex-officials who break the law looks blatantly political too, it's a primary source of your Hillary Derangement Syndrome, tbh.

the legal hazard looks much worse in this case. just having the do ents at this point goes to establish willfulness and knowledge.

I think he'll actually skate on that stuff barring a flip by one of the inner circle. The liability is really diffuse.

The classified and defense information and obstruction violations here are so clear here I can't see Trump's getting away with them.

So basically any President from here on out can just go ahead and take classified docs on the way out the door because the worst case scenario is they'll just have to give them back.

I think this probably would've gone away if Trump had coughed up all the do ents the first time around.
