Russian copium huffers said that the UKR offensive was only for the purpose of showing these donors that some progress was being made, and not to really do anything.

The destruction of Russia as a nation state would be a good thing generally for the rest of the world. It is a malevolent, fascist cancer, that has openly been waging a war on democracy itself in the west for close to twenty years.

No one will have to invade them. Historically strong men and the empires/countries that badly lose wars do not survive very long after.

Of note: Wargaming the UKR war in simulations with humans playing roles of major strategic actors often have the Russians escalating by using WMD on a secondary city. Western foreign policy needs to be very clear that is a red line.
