So what do you think the US should do? I know Biden and Democrats want to "punish" Saudi Arabia for agreeing to production cuts, but do you guys really agree with that?

Meh. Its the real world. We may not like their human rights but they are the lesser of evils in that hole region. In my opinion they are being realistic about the coming world wide recession and trimming output to compensate. I dont understand the position that they "owe" it to the US to keep oil prices low.

I mean about the only thing we can do is restrict some of our arms sales to them.

    Big whoop.

Is Canada's oil somehow unavailable to us now?

    Who said we should?

I don't think it will make any difference.

Who says we should? Apparently Biden and quite a few in congress. DO YOU AGREE?

which do you think is safer. Trains or pipelines? Seriously?

    "apparently"

I already said what I think. Lock-step obedience is your party's deal.

Quantify how dangerous the current transport of Canada's oil is.

    Seriously.

I'll let you know if it makes me think the pipeline was awesome.

What about finding out why Biden wanted to have them wait for cuts after the midterms

Would Biden be ok if bush did that ?

I think they should punish them by letting usa drill more oil and not be dependent on them
It will hurt them the most

They should punish, and they should've done this a long time ago. Always has been a terror state. Pakistan being an 'ally' is the same .

I get that the Saudis have dem bills, and that means business, but continually looking the other way just simply isn't right.

100s or 1000s of leases not being drilled, onshore and offshore.

BigOil loves restricted supply, esp in face of decreasing demand, to goose the price, just as SA is doing.

BigOil's domestic oil/gas charges domestic US market the world price, so drilling more doesn't reduce the price.

eg, CPS "fuel charge" elevated 2 or 3 times from lows because TX natgas is being LNG exported at world price.

We should punish them for funding 9/11, ISIS, and their wahhabist salafist culture of beating women with sticks for not wearing the full niqab in public
