Again, juvenile obsession with farts. Way to go, fartboy.
Not an obsession with farts at all. Just you making an incorrect statement and me pointing it out. And then you never just admitting you were wrong.
Like you do with everything. Which was my point. You're ego is so inflated that you won't ever just say, "my bad...I made a mistake". You're a clown.
After all your stupid comments, I'm starting to think you might just be a troll.

Keep speeding up the development of alternative energy sources unless you want to be slaves to Saudi Arabia and Russia as long as possible.

Any negative response would just hurt our long term. Interests in the region. Since we ed up Sadaam and Iraq we need some other powerful counterpoints to Iran. We don't have to agree with their religion or how they handle their domestic issues. All the "wishing" in the world isn't going to change that.

The Financial Times reports on how Saudi Arabia “won Biden back,” and it will come as no surprise that they didn’t have to do anything:

As relations tentatively improved, the Biden administration floated the idea of a grand deal for Saudi Arabia to normalise ties with Israel. The carrot for Riyadh, long irked by what it regards as US unpredictability and a perceived lack of commitment to the Gulf’s security, was a defence treaty similar to the one the US shares with Japan, and co-operation with its nascent civilian nuclear programme.

The U.S. has spent the last three and a half years cultivating closer ties with the Saudis while the Saudi government has done nothing to warrant a better relationship. It would be one thing if the Saudi government had made a concerted effort to improve ties by becoming a more reliable and useful partner, but this never happened. Mohammed bin Salman kept doing whatever he felt like doing, and the administration started falling all over itself to cater to his preferences. Now the president is so desperate to get any foreign policy “win” that he is proposing locking the U.S. into a formal alliance with one of the world’s worst governments. The Saudis didn’t need to win over Biden, as he was too busy chasing after them like a drunken suitor.

besides, I thought Israel was our strategic counterbalance to Iran, now we need the KSA for that too?

With a Japan like defense guarantee, and the transfer of strategic technology?

Sounds like the USA is setting up the KSA as a strategic counterweight to Israel too.

Israel and Saudis are strange bedfellows, but they hate Iran that much that it works.

KSA manipulating oil production before elections is probably something on Biden's mind.

not sure what you mean, the MSM is saying the KSA already threw in the towel on strategic cuts -- some even gave Joe Biden's releases from the US oil reserve credit -- what's your take based on?

Strictly my Machiavellian political outlook. OPEC+ temporarily cut production prior to 2022 elections to with Joe and they can do it again to impact election. KSA was reeling from just killing Jamal Khashoggi back then so this could have been a you to US.

In the memo, Monahan also gave members an update on the tour's negotiations with Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, which is considering a sizable investment in PGA Tour Enterprises. The PIF has funded the rival LIV Golf League the past three years.

    quasi-continuity with Biden

nuclear capability without recognition of Israel might be on the table

interesting stuff about the US and Türkiye possibly cooperating to Israel's detriment in Syria

    (Ha'aretz article linked)

It also became clear earlier this week that, in the context of the U.S.-Saudi relationship, Israel's influence is no longer what it was during President Biden's tenure. U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright announced on Sunday during his visit to Riyadh that the Trump administration and Saudi Arabia are "on track" to sign a deal that'll address the Saudis' aspirations to develop a nuclear program.

Such a deal, along with a U.S.-Saudi defense alliance, were the two incentives Biden offered in exchange for normalizing relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Israel has voiced significant reservations about Saudi Arabia's potential nuclear program, even if intended for peaceful purposes. Additionally, the Saudis have warned that if Iran develops nuclear weapons, they too will pursue them.

Although the path to a nuclear agreement with Saudi Arabia is long and Riyadh isn't yet ready to accept the restrictive conditions involved, as Wright said, "There are many ways to structure an agreement so as to achieve both Saudi and American goals." However, one thing he "forgot" to mention was normalization with Israel as a condition for the nuclear agreement.

The truce with the Houthis took Israel by surprise

It doesn't appear that Israel is in the room for Trump's plans for Gaza, Iran and Syria either

Ron Dermer's latest WH visit probably means that Netanyahu is back in Trump's doghouse -- this time (reportedly) for trying to get US to attack Iran

The United States is no longer demanding Saudi Arabia normalise ties with Israel as a condition for progress on civil nuclear cooperation talks, two sources with knowledge of the matter told Reuters ahead of U.S. President Donald Trump's visit next week.

Dropping the demand that Saudi Arabia establish diplomatic relations with Israel would be a major concession by Washington. Under former President Joe Biden, nuclear talks were an element of a wider U.S.-Saudi deal tied to normalisation and to Riyadh's goal of a defence treaty with Washington.
