Still think Spurs make the play in. Too much talent.
Still think Spurs make the play in. Too much talent.
Lol Devin Vassell is part of the problem. Sorry not sorry.
New York times headlines calls when bayana player from another planet
Ain't voice to text. Hilarious?
can't wait to see him average 16ppg on 44/34/80 shooting splits while they win 20 games![]()
It's the same as last year. Dejounte talking about how many dogs they had and the disrespect being shown to them.
Newsflash to Devin, who btw, I have liked from day 1 and think will take a big stride this year: Vegas isn't often that wrong about stuff. We are going to suck and that's the goal. Stop fighting reality and just go show your game.
In an absolute sense, the Spurs have a lot more talent than some fans seem to think. Like, they're still one of the 30 most talented teams in the world. But a lot of people underestimate the level of talent on an average NBA team. Almost every team has a couple of players better than the Sprus' best, and their depth is more comparable to the Spurs' starters. If guys make some leaps, they'll win a lot of games. But as of right now, they should be underdogs in every game they have on their schedule.
Vassell couldn’t even make the fking rookie game as a sop re and was openly pissed. It wasn’t a conspiracy as to why he didn’t make it. He was a fringe candidate.
The team did overachieve last year and he had his best season ever and made the AS team so he kinda lived up to what he was talking about prior to the season. Vassell comments do seem far fetched. They will definitely be in contention for Victor.
What do you expect? You want your players to be compe ive, while unfortunately not winning a lot because of lack of experience. But the hunger should always be there.
Exactly, the last thing you want is your players ok with losing
I want him to support his ing future teammate.
Unfortunately, he’s no Halliburton.
Are you saying Vassell will be traded to Utah or Indiana?
This is probably the fifth time you've written this lame argument.
Precious Achiuwa, Saddiq Bey, Jae'Sean Tate and Cole Anthony are better players than Vassell?
Or did they just have more opportunities and playing time in order to improve stats?
And what does the February exhibition game have to do with the new season as a whole?

League ain't ready for 6'6 Primo. We would make the play in.
people here don't seem to understand that you can't win a lot of games in the modern NBA if you start three non 3-point shooters

This team will suck but what's Vassell gonna say? "Yeah we suck, we're tanking for Wemby." As long as he takes a leap towards being a better player this year, then he can say whatever he wants.
Plus you know that fairy Adam Silver will be breathing down their backs if they do something "sketchy."
He shouldn’t have posted that, that’s just stupid. Hopefully he won’t become the next social media diva of the team, nothing good can come out of this.
I like it. Either he knows something we don't or at least we'll be a feisty loser that has flashes. That's the ideal situation for a tank.
Maybe Brett Brown has learned a few things during version 1.0 of "the process" and we'll have a team that loses while playing in a development-friendly way.
What we don't want is a wasted season where our nascent talent develops bad playing habits or at udes.
Cavs most popular lineup was Garland-Okoro-Markkanen-Mobley-Allen and they still won 44 games.
Have you heard anything about live streaming?
Hopefully he is big part of the goldilocks scenario of player development, compe ive losses, with moral victories along the way. A team friendly extension next summer, ideally front loaded (since we will be flush with cap) like Keldon’s deal would be great.
Another useful trade chip untill we have a true possible centrepiece to build around
What do y’all want players to say lol? Players play and have confidence even if irrational. Let’s see what happens. Most of y’all hate on the youth and have underestimated everyone from Dejounte/Derrick to Keldon and Vassell. Sure, they aren’t superstars but they are way better than most give credit and you can win with them IMO if you have the centerpiece/offensive engine.
Spurs will lose this year because they just dont have any offensive engine or enough of a lead guard. But hopefully Keldon/Devin and Primo can show they can create for themselves without needing to be spoon fed every single time. They should develop and you want guys like Devin who are compe ive and irrational. That’s a good thing…
