Go hard or not at all...
Great loss. In it the entire game despite red hot shooting from Minny
He's Beasley on steroids. Unrestricted free agent next year.
Seriously, this team doesn't look to be as bad as they should be for the betterment of their future. Looks like the same tired 7th seed aspiration bull that does nothing for us.
Sochan quickly becoming my favorite Spur. Love the intelligence and intensity he plays with on defense. Future DPOY potential
Think I prefer the empty roster slot to having Romeo at this point tbh
Pretty good L, all things considered.
That was fun. Langford looked terrible. Sochan looked good. If Vassell and Primo play, Spurs beat this Wolves team. D Lo is not playing good right now.
Had to remind wolves fans no Primo or Vassell but it feel on deaf ears. GG
yup atleast someone who can d up but see if he bounces back
Damn are you a whiny little .
Expected loss, but good to see the fight. Minny needed this after the Monday embarrassment. With Vassell this might have been another win.
We play these ers again this weekend. Unbelievable scheduling by the league.
Surprisingly Spurs were close.
The Wolves really should have put the hammer down and they couldn't.
I really love the fight in this young team.
Is it good for tanking or draft potential? Probably not.
But watching these guys go out and compete can be fun
Facts. These boys showed heart! The lakers better quit playing around and give us what we want because yesterdays price is not todays price![]()
Is this baseball series stuff something new the league is trying? Can’t recall a single time in my fandom that we’ve played a team three time straight in regular season.
I can see it potentially helping compe iveness during the regular season, but I also don’t care to see the same team repeatedly when the stakes are low.
Bulls in between but I think it’s just semi coincidental and also that our games really aren’t that important to the broader league.
This forum is redic. Absolute crickets.
The best path forward is compe ive losses coupled with player development. That is the goldilocks scenario.
I think it's a consequence of the new schedule protocol the league started using last season or the season before. The Spurs usually play twice at Minnesota in the same season, but in the past it was never in back to back games like this. Having the Spurs only fly to Minneapolis once saves a lot of miles and travel time.
Longer home stands and longer road trips (as long as the cities aren't too far apart) helps too.
The Spurs getting Minnesota at home so soon is probably just coincidence.
Timberwolves fans have never struck me as very bright.
I thought Langford actually cared tonight and was very steady on both sides of the ball and gave a pretty damn good effort on defense.
Know why I know we'll be better than I hoped?? This team, widely expected to be near the bottom by Vegas, just played a team twice in 3 days, both at their place, that is expected to comfortably in the playoffs. And after embarrassing them the first game, and having their coach call them out publicly, we were still in the second game, their revenge game, really for the whole game. And that's with them hitting more than 20 threes which normally leads to big wins foe that team. We out-rebounded them. Out-hustled them. And had 34 assists.
Last year's team gets blown out by 40 in this exact same cir stance by last year's Minnesota team, and now his year's Minnesota team is better with Nowell and Gobert.
And we did it all without one of our starters.
We are definitely looking at fringe play-in status as currently structured. Guess I owe that guy that started the thread about us not tanking an apology.
