Reddit is what it is, but, there's a rumor that some weird went down at the hotel in Minneapolis and Primo got kicked out.
Allegedly, Primo exposed himself to housekeeping. Spurs benched him and did their own investigation the past 3 days and their conclusions led to them waiving him tonight at 5pm.

True or not, doesn't sound like something you waive in this scenario ...

To get waived, you'd think it was some horrible criminal act. But then, RC's quote doesn't really make sense if that's the case. Any other scenario (drugs, mental health crisis, fight, etc.), they wouldn't have waived him; they would have just found a way to trade him.

Yeah this is a team that goes out if it's way taking care of players. Most of the things you listed they would get him help for, not waive him. This is strange.
