He quit his job. Maybe sad some things that would make a pro team pull gear- But this is him quitting. No murder, rape, drug slanging. No tmz. Just the Spurs wall. He didn’t want to be a basketball player enough. And unfortunately there may have been other issues like lw4 had. But he decided not to play basketball anymore. Half you didn’t want him anyways unfortunately

We still don’t really know what happened with Udoka. There are some vague rumors, but not really anything concrete. If Primo’s stuff doesn’t become a public, criminal thing there’s a chance we may never know the full story. Also, don’t teams have 48hrs to sign someone off waivers? Spurs could be trying to keep things under wraps to induce a bid if it’s actually that bad.

If they are, then it better be huge. I’m not sure what moral high ground you gain from letting the basketball world wonder whether you had a child pornographer or murderer on your team. They are feeding a 19 year old to the wolves. The longer the spurs let it go radio silent, the worse it will look for them if he didn’t do something heinous. If it’s truly a criminal matter, nobody bats an eye when you put out a “we’re investigating the matter” statement after it goes public. There has to be a smoking gun video/photo, or the spurs just panicked.
Spurs local media holding big L’s yet again. None of them have any sources. If this is truly a criminal thing, Spurs are on the phone pulling some serious favors around town to keep this under wraps.

No way PATFO waived him for mental health reasons. If that's the case why remove his jersey and stuff from the shop? That makes no sense. It has to be something more serious.

Have been on the go - landed a good job here, and had a kid - she just turned 2. Time's been flying esp with covid.
This shows to me the Spurs can no longer properly analyze a player to see if he is mentally stable. Spurs in the last 5 years have had 3 first rounders with mental problems ala Lonnie, Luka, Primo.
I never wanted Primo in the first place. I wanted Sengun or Tre Murphy. Was disappointed when the Spurs picked this kid.

They all seemed like sensitive, fragile, slightly feminine types which is why the Spurs probably liked them.
Also the media shouldn't even show up to Pop's press conferences anymore or even ask him questions anymore because he won't answer their questions and only talks about things usually not related to the Spurs or basketball.

So Primo’s statement says he wants to help others. Ok, so having seen that it doesn’t sound like someone running from a criminal issue. It sounds like he waited to get paid and took off unexpectedly. Feels like a Ricky Williams situation possibly.
