This team is no different than the championship years. Whoever he put in there just executes so well without missing a beat, a testimony to Pop’s genius. I hope that silence his critics. This guys is the GOAT.
Selfless play makes a huge difference in execution.

Romeo is intriguing this kid played with a ton of effort. He had his hands on the ball a ton tonight especially on the offensive glass. He had 4 OREB and it felt like he at least touched it or tapped it out a lot too.

    I love Keldon Johnson.
He has a nice skill set / foundation I also peeped a minute ago. He needs reps for sure..

Even though I'm on Team Tank this is pretty freaking impressive to see this team at 5-2 and playing fun to watch basketball with a roster that on paper should only get them 20-25 wins for the season. It's gonna suck hard when Pop retires and we see what an average or below average coach looks like again.

The upcoming ten games or so are brutal, but I like the Spurs' chances. They're a playoff team right now.

Yeah I dont think the team is just going to bend over tonight because guys are out. The Twolves will have to expose their weaknesses tonight.
    Too soon. It still hurts

The narrative is we have an average coach now. We’ll tank after trades are made…..

Amazing effort. Love the flow of offense this season. The dribble to a mid range favorite was painful to watch the previous years

I keep waiting for “reality” to set in and to see them start losing but I believe reality has already set in and we’re seeing the kind of team we really have.

Xrays negative on Wesley. Thank God
Were you worried about a break? The real test should be an MRI.

After the Wolves scored 60 points from three last week against the Spurs, they scored just 12 points from distance tonight.

MIN shot 14% from three for the night

The word is the Spurs think Wesley avoided a major injury. Hopefully that ends up being the case, tbh.

I hope Wesley is alright. Kid looks like he will fit right in. Branham needs to shake those jitters. He looked really hesitant out there.

Wow, the Spurs are 5-2 in a year where they’re supposed to be tanking. They won today against a Western conference contender despite missing 2/5 of their starting lineup and their sixth man.
Top 5 team in the west tbh

Man, why are we winning these games? Late in the year, we'll regret it when we lose the playin game and draft at 14.

The number of wins right now is very surprising considering they were supposed to be one of the worst teams. Our rookies show more promise than last years picks and the ball movement and 3 point shooting also seems to be better than last years squad as well. I don't know how long they can keep this pace, but at least they are fun to watch and they really do play hard.

Barring a major injury, weird unnecessary trades, or pop just throwing out funky experimental lineups just for kicks, this team right now looks like it could be half way decent and not be the cellar dwellers they have been predicted to be. Remember they have beaten the T-Wolves (a predicted playoff team) two out three games. Its not a direct indicator but it is something to take note of. Who would have thought that at the beginning of the season. Not too many people I'm sure.
