I love that Pop is trying to hype up Langford. Langford right now reminds me of fat Bobcats Diaw in that the skills and smarts are there, he just isn't motivated and doesn't care enough to put in the effort. If Pop can light a fire under Langford and get him to play with energy and confidence, the Spurs may have something nice.

He looked dead for most of the preseason. Lackluster, just going through the motions. It may have been when they cut Weezy and kept him that sparked him.

I think there's a lot of just reading his facial expressions, which he has none. Afaik, he hasn't done interviews much, so he's just been background. Maybe he has thought he was heading elsewhere. But he clearly knows the plays on both sides of the ball, so he's been paying attention and doing the work.
