Oh. Bassey tore it up.
Bassey looked like he had a good game.
Luka Samanic is playing for Maine (Celtics G-League team). 11 points on 4-14 FG. 11 boards. Thought he would have gone back to Europe by name but still hanging around in the G-League.
Sandwich stuck around to pull all that prime Maine tail.
He's still getting those checks from the Spurs for another two years. May as well see if he can sucker another team in the meantime.
He was waived 11 October last year, before year 3, and with his track record, there is no way they’d pick up his year 4 option early. They paid him last year, $2.9M, but they’re done paying him. A five year rookie contract is really only two year’s guaranteed, with a series of options, only one of which the Spurs exercised.
Adaway was good, athletic and strong wing. Bassey looked like an NBA player. Barlow is pretty raw, jumpy and rehearsed moves. Don't know the purpose of Alize such a record scratch player even in the G-League. Kuhse was solid, might be a better call up than Hall. Brown is a generic G-league player.

I think more like a backup big....but still very valuable rounding out this team in the future..
Don’t sleep on Bassey! Dude can ball. If he can truly have a reliable 3pt stroke, a lot of teams are going to be kicking themselves, namely the 6ers for letting him go.
definitely an NBA player. I'm more interested in his defense though.

Hate to say it Austin fans, but we need Bassey on the big club asap. He might be our best Center right now.

he might be able to replace Poeltl in the long run
From his play in the last two games in Ausin, he can replace Poertle anytime if we need/want to trade him. Very athletic on the defensive end with great PNR skills on offense. He was crushing ally oop passes and dunking rebounds.
