Would be more than happy if Serbia makes it out of group phase, but I think Switzerland was better in 2018.

Danilo's injured and out for at least the remainder of the group stage. 40 year old Pepe's getting the start

Personally, i would have gone with 19 year old Benfica CB Antonio Silva but anything that keeps Danilo on the bench is a win in my book
    That kid is a beast.

Damn, Sidenaldo has a stacked roster around him.

Without Neymar, Brazil's lineup looks pretty ordinary, tbh. A central defender as rightback, a workman roleplayer like Fred isntead of Neymar, a non inventive striker like Richarlison, and Vinicius, who on a good day is great, but most often than not is a guy that start plays better than his finishes them. Not a lot of Jogo Bonito, tbh.

Worry about Saudi Arabia first before talking smack about Brazil.

Paqueta played great tbh.. not sure why e sub the best player of the first half. This first half without Neymar has been better than against Serbia against a better compe ion.

First, we should worry about Poland, not Saudi Arabia.

Second, what does one thing have to do with the other? If folks here couldn't give their opinion on teams other than their own, what the are you even doing here?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's a bad team, just that lacks the creativity that Brazil always used to have in several positions on the field. Today e put a lineup full of hard working folks without much playmaking abilities.

Wait a sec, the announcer just said Ronaldo is a free agent atm.

And Messi is rumored to be taking his talents to South Beach... sounds like it's time for Heatles 2.0, the Soccer edition. They just need some mid level name to be their Bosh.

Ugh, no... I can't think of anything less enjoyable than playing with egomaniac Ronaldo... the third best Ronaldo in the past 20 years, BTW.

That's where I think we have a different opinion tbh... hard working folks except for Casemiro I don't see it. Paqueta, Vini, Rodrygo are creators, Rafinha to a lesser extend.. In this animation you have btw a lot of similarities with France tbh... Vini / Rafinha for Mbappe / Dembele etc...

From what I've seen so far of this WC they are clear cut favorites. Hopefully I'm wrong.

    Brazil vs Switzerland 1:0

Neymar is always very important for Brazil. If he retires from International football after the World Cup, Pelé’s record could still stand.

    Ghana vs South Korea 3:2

First Ghana goal a hand ball from #10, no VAR, nothing. Though, it’s hard to feel sympathy after 2002 how South Korea stole the games vs Italy and Spain.

Rodrygo didn't start. He played Fred in place of Neymar. That's like playing Mascherano instead of Messi, tbh.

The starting lineup had little to no playmaking hability. Vinicius and Raphinha aren't playmakers, they are speedy wingers with some flashy dribbles, but they don't build up play.
