Brazil and Spain are on Argentina's side.
Beta trying to get the Sigma's attention.
Brazil and Spain are on Argentina's side.
There will be surprises in the KO just like the Groups had. Don't just pencil in the favorites.
He was still Pissy over the blown penalty gift.
No shame and no pride, weren't even trying to recover the ball
Same with Denmark vs Australia earlier, gave up with over 10 minutes to play
Say what you want about teams like Ecuador, Ghana, even defensive minded uruguay, they at least give it all they have
"the polack team is celebrating the Saudi goal as if Lewandowsky had scored" - andress cantor live commentary
Polacks
You are comparing teams with different physical makeup. Polska can't run around like a headless dog for 90 minutes. Just like evidently those teams can't defend like us. Those teams are notorious for cheap fouls for a reason.
Comgrats nig
These mexican and argentine haters fail to see that their countries have done this and worse ty stuff to advance in cups.
Sure the Polacks were gutless tonight but they are still alive
Hopefully your team plsys well vs France and at the very leask breaks Mbapes clavicle
Aside from hopefully putting Mbape in a wheel chair you could hold out to penalties where your superior goalie could shock the world
This was considered the group of death heading into the WC.
Brazil What happened with french TV TF1?
They stopped the broadcast of France-Tunisia during the VAR check on Griezmann’s goal
so.typical.of the french fries

Thank you
Many fans are feeling down and I'm not thrilled either. Didn't post anything about the match on social media. We did back into advancing but does anyone remember how we performed in 1986, the last time we advanced? The accomplishment remains.
I think we'll see a more adventurous team against France with now nothing to lose. This 3rd match was kinda a mind of hypotheticals.
BUT I rather see Mich the manager not retained for the next WC process. We were forced into this hiring with Sousa quitting and we parlayed it to finally break a long WC streak of futility. But moving forward we shouldn't resort to just defending.
This is fake news, tbh...
3rd game in '78 was Italy 1 - Argentina 0, no missed penalties (only game Argentina lost in that world cup)
3rd game in '86 was Argentina 2 - Bulgaria 0, no missed penalties
Oh for sure, but when you're in the quarterfinals you can expect any group winner, and in this WC you could have Brazil vs Spain, and France vs England. So even though I agree the Netherlands won't be a pushover, I'll take my chances with them over any of those 4.
No it wasn't. It was an easy group.
The floppers from Argentina. Don't want to see them go far.
Everything seems to be falling in place for Harden tbh
Easy path to the semi-final against weaker teams
Teammates carrying his choking ass after he choked yet another penalty
Refs keep gifting him non-existent penalties almost on a game to game basis now
Huge choke job if midget doesn't make at least the semi-final tbh imho ngl
The Netherlands are super overrated tbh. They're closer to Poland than they are to Argentina in terms of quality.
They also played in the easiest group of this WC. They should have won every single match and by wider margins than they did.
Yet, they struggled immensely to hold on to a draw against Ecuador.
They'll park the bus and try to force the penalty shootout but honestly, i don't see any scenario other than Argentina going through to the semi during regular time.
After a quick google search, most results say it's either Brazil's or Spain's group that is the "group of death."
You literally come into every thread spewing lies just to ride midgetStop it, man. Get some help. This is embarassing
Another one of your lies below that later on was corrected by Elnono
Group C: Argentina #1, Poland #2. Mexico and Saudi Arabia eliminated.
Group D: France #1, Australia #2. Tunisia and Denmark eliminated.
Tough to judge Argentina's quality. Polska did not attempt to challenge them and yet the match was still scoreless at Half.
Argies highlight of the group stage was against Mexico. Another match they couldn't score in the first 45 mins.
But ya that path to the SemiFinals is very favorable and Messi is racking up penalty shots.
this was hilarious tbh...
on a side note, Griezman was not offside on this goal, VAR should not have refused the goal. Then VAR could not have intervened anyway... does not change but imagine the same in the final. One thing is sure this referee and VAR crew won't be part of the final
Finally France put a formal claim which is dumb imho... let Tunisia with the win and no need to create a mess with FIFA
Fully agree with you.
France vs. Poland has the smell of France Paraguay in 98, weak team but strong goal keeper who is going to frustrate France offense. Then if we go through we go against England... the game I don't want to lose, I would rather take a loss against Poland than failing against England![]()
Judging a team because it took them until after halftime to score against 2 teams that pretty much parked the bus in front of their keeper, is not a very smart argument. Argentina's highlight of the tournament to this day was far and away yesterday, should have beaten Poland by 4 or 5, the difference between both teams was just ridiculous.
It's worth noticing as well that the game against the Saudis, though undoubtedly a poor showing by Argentina, was an aberration in that the Saudis shot twice and scored twice... you could give them 100 times the same opportunities and in he vast majority they'd fail to score once, let alone both times.
We've yet to see what would happen when we face a team that actually puts pressure on our defense but, all in all, I'm content mostly in that Argetina's team managed to get out of the hole they dug themselves into, injected some much needed new blood (Enzo Fernandez, Julián Álvarez, etc.), wasn't overly reliant on Messi (to a point), and played well overall.
Now if we can get Rodrigo De Paul, Lautaro Martínez, and Paulo Dybala to regain their usual form, and Di María and Romeros's health holds up, we might actually have a chance to go far in this tournament.
Yeah Grisemine's position didn't impact the play directly tbh
