Can't blame Lukaku for that last miss, hard shot that bounced off him, too fast

Belgium
Kevin de Prune
Prince Harry
Belgian Messi
If you are a top team, on ST, you have to be crap unless you win 3 straight all by 4 goals.
The WC play is not nearly as precise and coordinated as club soccer. It can’t be with the time spent playing together.
So almost everyone is I guess.
There clearly are teams with enough talent to run other teams ragged. Argentina is one of those teams. But because an aging Messi they must suck? Really? If They put it together for a game beware. They ran Poland ragged. And if people don’t think Messi is at least good, they failed to see some of the passes he made. He must be in that team, even at 35. Even missing penalties.
Its so easy to point out crappy so ST prefers the easy way. You would think people should hate this contest forever. Just watch the club teams, they practice together. The club teams also have many more choices in putting the proper parts together. Why even watch this compe ion if that’s the case?
This is a major factor in European success, they usually field teams with a significant number of players coming from a couple clubs (Spain: Barcelona & Real Madrid, Germany: Bayern Munich, Italy: Juventus, Milan & Inter, etc) and that allows them to compensate for their lack of training with the NT, helping them be more cohesive than their South American counterparts.
The South American powerhouses usually reach the WC in sub optimal form, both physically and collectively, and with ever increasingly long calendars, that plays a significant part in their performance. For Argentina this is quite evident, in success (1978, 1986, 2014 -yes, reaching the finals is a success-) and failure (2002, 2010, 2018). Our players are usually scattered all over, and without the time to make up for it, more often than not we pay a steep price.
This BS that national players dont know each other is ing stupid BS
Most of these guys play together since early teens for their country. Theres plenty of friendlies, compe ions and tournaments for them to be 100% fully ready for the World Cup
Stop with the stupidity nigs![]()
So give us the team in which the National team is the same team as the club team fkn dunce?
They are 100% ready for the WC? are you just totally stupid.
Why have they played an exhausting club schedule then?
Why do managers of each try to have plans to not kill the players physically and then get into conflicts over too much playing time?
100% ready when Tottehman's Son is playing with a fkn mask because his eye orbit is still broken and healing...
You are as stupid in this section as in foreign affairs.
Noone said that you ing re .
U have no clue what you are talking about.
A good national team has trained extensively together and all players know each other extremely well for years. Idiot![]()
So then they are NOT at maximum capablity you re .
there is NO FKN way they have had the quality time like the club teams.
AND... they put players together on the field that play similar positions, unlike the club teams which try to pick them based on need positionally.
Just stop.
Shut up.
You are an idiot.
Group F: Marocco #1, Croatia #2. Eliminated Belgium and Canada.
Sure, knowing someone by name is the same as playing together a couple weeks all year at most...
From Germany's 2014 roster:
1 Manuel Neuer goalkeeper, Bayern Munich
7 Bastian Schweinsteiger midfielder, Bayern Munich
13 Thomas Müller midfielder, Bayern Munich
18 Toni Kroos midfielder, Bayern Munich
19 Mario Götze midfielder, Bayern Munich
20 Jérôme Boateng defender, Bayern Munich
16 Philipp Lahm (captain) defender, Bayern Munich
5 Mats Hummels defender, Borussia Dortmund
15 Erik Durm defender, Borussia Dortmund
22 Roman Weidenfeller goalkeeper, Borussia Dortmund
2 Kevin Grosskreutz defender, Borussia Dortmund
8 Mesut Özil midfielder, Arsenal
10 Lukas Podolski midfielder, Arsenal
17 Per Mertesacker defender, Arsenal
Bayern Munich: 7, Borussia Dortmund: 4, Arsenal: 3
From Spain's 2010 WC:
Víctor Valdés Barcelona
Gerard Piqué Barcelona
Carles Puyol Barcelona
Sergio Busquets Barcelona
Xavi Hernández Barcelona
Andrés Iniesta Barcelona
Pedro Rodríguez Barcelona
David Villa Barcelona
Raúl Albiol Real Madrid
Álvaro Arbeloa Real Madrid
Sergio Ramos Real Madrid
Xabi Alonso Real Madrid
Iker Casillas Real Madrid
Carlos Marchena Valencia
David Silva Valencia
Juan Mata Valencia
Barcelona: 8, Real Madrid: 5, Valencia: 3
And you can go for yourself and check up on Germany 2006, Italy 2006, Germany 2010, and you'll find similar results.
If you can't see a difference between having 80% or your main squad play together all year for years, as opposed to a couple weeks net time, then I'm afraid it's not in the football department you're lacking.
Yeah
If those guys would have played in different teams they would have sucked
Brilliant stuff![]()
Noone is ever going to be at maximum capability ya ing deuchebag![]()
Oh.
"I know Messi. We played together when we were 14.
We should be great together, better than any club team."
And we also text frequently, it should work perfectly.
Congrats to Morocco
Germans about to stumble into the QuarterFinals![]()
Yeah.this is how Argentine National team functions.

I said it's a major factor, not the only one. But among the top contenders in any sport, a small advantage is enough to put you over the top. And I'd say that obviously qualifies as such.
You have just been given evidence that club teams have far more practice time and ability to pick from a variety of players versus National Teams.
your response is no team will ever be at maximum. We have no fkn clue what maximum is.
Club teams are better prepared both in their makeup, practice time and often degree of physical fitness. You disagree.
Because you are an idiot.
There are much bigger factors. Such as talent, coach, organization, money, training grounds, etc.
International compe ion is not a level compe ion. Never will be. If I had the choice of having a team of same team club players vs a team of non same club plus messi. Guess who Ill pick
But carry on if you want do discuss a minor factor out of the hundreds![]()
I read that the Saudi's expected goal was 0,14 on that game. They got 2.![]()
If African teams had White strikers & goalkeepers

Time to give Africa and Conmebol some of the Euro berths, tbh...
