Pop seems like he's thoroughly enjoying this experience. He's showing more passion and fire than he has at any point after 2014. Absolute joy to watch him be so sharp. As much as message board spursfans have criticized him it'll be a rough awakening when he retires and some bad to mediocre coach comes in.

Also love McDermott's play. It's crazy how people think it's some sort of a bad contract, especially considering the cir stances. This team need his movement and the spacing he provides.

Langford was the MVP until Vassell hit those two amazing jump shots. Good stuff form Richardson and McDermott as well. I thought Collins was stout. A couple of his fouls were super questionable by the refs. Bassey looked like a man out there too.

Sadly, when Sochan and Poeltl return I don’t see this team being bad enough for the bottom 3. Probably still looking at 20-25 wins which probably won’t be few enough for that bottom three finish.

The league is just not talented enough to beat this young Spurs team to the extent needed for a proper tank. Another pick in that 6-10 range forthcoming.

Tre with a B? B for a tank commander maybe, he almost cost Spurs the win by his turnover, blown dribble and out of bounds play on consecutive possessions in the closing seconds. It was like he was looking for ways to lose. Had he been more successful you could've given him an A.

Successful in his attempts to lose this game. What I meant was he should have received a C or D. Internet is a difficult thing to understand for some people.

Was pleased to see the effort. A narrow loss would have been better. Maybe these wins gets Wright to think more about trades. We’ll see.

Wow. I wanted them to lose, but it’s hard to not root for them when you see them competing like that. Again Vassell has been playing like a true goto player with that swagger, deserving to be all-star. The best thing is he does it within the play, in contrast to the iso plays/hero ball of DJM, even imo a stat padder. Langford would be quite a steal if he continues to play like he’s been playing. Already I could see him as the best point-of-attack defender the Spurs have. I’m really rooting for this kid. He has the athleticism enough to forget what Lonnie could’ve been. I hope Collins continue to get better, another player I’m rooting for. He has the fight in him sometimes lacking in our PF/C position, but hopefully he could learn to curtail some of those fouls. Now go tanking

Spurs just lost 11 straight games my man, I think the tank will be just fine. A win against the 2nd worst team and a mediocre, underperforming Heat team doesn't change that

Those two shots by Vassell were a thing of beauty. Nothing but net. A loss would have been the preferred outcome, but it's hard not to root for them.

Romeo is a bit of a menace driving to the basket. He's slithery and gets to some... dare I say... Manu-esque angles. He does look much more confident out there and isn't hesitating when he needs to shoot threes.

Bassey - I strongly feel that his rough patch was due to trying to learn the offense and defense on the fly, since he had no training camp. Now, he's no longer thinking through as much. Good sign that he seems to be making the right plays and knows his spots now fairly quickly.

So what's the problem with where I was born? What's happening is terrible, but does that make me worse than you by default? You don't know me, where I live, how I grew up, what I believe and what I do, but you're already superior just cause you were born in the US? It just so happened that we love the same basketball team, talk to me first, we may not be too different.

I hope so, my bad if that's an overreaction. it's just a reflex from all the people drawing assumptions and thinking in stereotypes. Not everyone of us is a bad human being.

Anyway, back to basketball, I hope we can get a competent PG in the draft if we don't get 1st, Tre isn't going to cut it in the playoff runs.

Russia’s a bad word these days. They’re indirectly and directly influencing the entire world in a pretty bad way. That’s the problem with where you were born. It’s a horrible country run by horrible people. I wouldn’t exactly be proud of being from there. At least not today.

You could always change your name to something less sinister. Like SpursPedo. Of course it wouldn’t mean that your a child molester. Maybe you like to count your steps using a pedometer.

We definitely need a PG... it why several of us really want to acquire another top 15 draft pick in this draft....it's deep and there are several that would be nice pickups..

Hes been awful until this season and his defense still is awful and even with his spacing Spurs are not winning games..but yes, he has played better. Still zero reason to have given him the deal and no one else in league would have.

But I am glad to see him at least being not awful this season.

I understand that Russia is a toxic country for the world, but that’s not a reason to attack any Russian personally. A lot of people there have right beliefs. It’s a minority, but that’s still about 25-30% of the population, which accounts for 35-40 million people. It’s very important to treat these people like humans first and not alienate them. This is the way to change things and make the world a better place.

It's so funny when Americans try to impose on other people a sense of guilt for the actions of the government and the invasion of third countries.
