Indications are that Russia will begin switching to an economy built on the backs of the entirety of its citizens for war.
Everyone in Russia will understand the desperation of an actual war that needs to be undertaken. Sounds like Putin will call this a war that they cannot lose as the punishment they will take from the international community will not be bearable so it truly will turn to a completely unified effort on Russia’s part. Putin is apparently going to make all of Russia involved in this and the planning has just begun. Putin and the MoD will effectively take their time in convincing the entirety of Russia there is no way out. No peace talks, no border deals.
I really hope the above is way off base.
Ukraine will absolutely need all sorts of arms from the west if the above is true. No holding back. Even help with men if the above takes place. I don’t know how Russia would explain the above to India and China because these countries absolutely don’t need a bigger mess.
Maybe some big wins from Ukraine might stunt what is described above.
