Keldon ain't really it as a #1. But Devin and him are a good 1/2. Need another solid #3 since we have no superstars and hope for another run at the beautiful game.
when we trade keldon we know the tank is over

Keldon traded anytime soon? No. Keldon traded eventually. I think so.
Most of the players on year 1 of a tanking team do stay on the same team all the way through the tank.
I'd say Sochan is a lock to stay and Devin is a lock to stay IF he wants to. Anybody else will probably get traded if the price is right.
KJ is just a hassle guy. He's not even that good to me.
What is the 'discontent' with Devin? I must've missed that...
No way we move him now when his value is at an ebb. Keldon is being forced to be the top guy this year and it is not ideal for his game. His efficiency should move back up when he can be a supporting player. He would be a great 3rd option on a good team.
That’s just another Spurstalk fabrication.
there was a tweet along the lines of "i just wanna play" that could be construed that he could play but pop is committed to tank, or that he can't play because of injury and is just feeling bad. Naturally some people have fully embraced the first interpretation.
It’s been 4 weeks since his knee surgery. Of course he can’t play yet. Probably another 2 weeks, minimum. But yes, I know what you mean, and people forget things.
they are not a 1/2
I'm not a trade expert, but I was wondering today if you could pair Kendall with Jacob and get something nice back? Or put KJ into any multi-player trade scenario??? Since we are tanking anyway, don't we have somebody else that could slide into that 3 slot without too much downside. Maybe Sochan or Vassell or the waterboy??? The way we have been drafting guards every draft, it seems to me that PATFO think Vassell's future has to be as SF.
We should consider it but I’m not sure any team is looking at Keldon and ready to pay more than a lightly protected FRP and a decent young asset. Teams flip talent like Keldon every deadline in a broader deal.
Nearly half the team could sub at SF if results don’t matter. Stanley Johnson, Bates-Diop, Roby, Langford, Richardson, McDermott, and also Branham is shown on bbref as “small forward.” For warm bodies in the game, no problem at all.
Couldn’t agree more. Highly replaceable. JRich might look like an AS if given Keldon’s role.
Lightly protected or heavily protected? Because I'm doing the deal if it's lightly protected plus a young asset.
