He’s from the metroplex, and probably would have gone there instead of here if his baby mama didn’t live here.

No excuse. I'd rather go swim in a septic tank.

hahahahaha he came to San Antonio to fking win.

No babymama drama just the difference of a 4 hour drive. 6 hours for some of you.

Good luck to LMA! Hope it works out. He worked with Kyrie in Brooklyn, maybe it's a good place for him. They'll at least win a few games.

He came here to be there for his son, who was 5 at the time. Considering he almost went to an awful Phoenix team, I don’t think winning was utmost in his mind.

He was down to the Spurs and the Lakers, iirc. He wanted to play for a contender.

Phoenix was an awful team, and they came within an eyelash of getting him. His meeting with the Lakers went awful. I remember reading that they were very y, like he should be happy to be a Laker.

Huh? He reportedly thought the Lakers presentation was a joke but liked Phoenix's.

There is no difference in proximity between Dallas and San Antonio.

Are you joking? He could literally drive over after practice or before a game almost every day he was not on the road. Can’t do that from Dallas.

Lol, Aldridge cared about winning about as much as Derozan. In other words, he didn't.

Now is the chance to go to Phoenix. IF healthy they have a good chance. I hate CP3 but I rather see CP3 than Dubs upping Timmy’s ring count or LBJ having another reason to call himself GOAT

LMA will fit in nicely with the Mavs D.

It’s a shame he never adapted his game and body in the later stages of his career. If he went on a TD regimen to trim down he could have prolonged his career And been somewhat playable on the defensive end. He is listed at 250 but he was easily coming into each season and playing at 270 I bet. He also should have exoanded his game outside of the 3pt line. With that touch I don’t see how he couldn’t have been at least league average on 3-4 attempts a game. Heart problems aside I feel like he could have been finishing his career similar to Al Horford.

Given that Roby, KBD, and Langford may not be in our future and are financially painless to waive, I'd like to see the Spurs audition whomever they consider the top (young) free agents and/or gleague guys. If nothing else, use the Two Way slot just vacated by Bassey.

There is a fair chance the Spurs sign Barlow to a standard deal too. Although, it would be best to lock him into a 4 year Hinkie Special beginning with next season.

Aldridge should just stay retired. Makes no sense to try being an ineficient back up big

LMA can be a floor-spacer who might be able to fill in when one of the main scorers is out. It's not like he's Jalil Okafor

Didn't know where to put this...

Former Spurs guard Bryn Forbes arrested in San Antonio overnight. Booked this morning on a misdemeanor family violence charge. San Antonio police said he assaulted someone he is in a dating relationship with. Arrested around 5:15 am at La Cantera Resort & Spa.

Hope he doesn't have money problems dragging him back into the league like Pippen and Antoine Walker.
