The best statistical season ever by a qb is still Marino in 1984 imo.
Didn't cap it off with SB and SB MVP, tbh.

Yeah, I imagine Brady in Reid's system and it's worse than Mahomes in Reid's system. It's really not that complicated, all things equal, the only thing you switch is the QBs, who do you think would have been favoured in the Chiefs-Niners and Chiefs-Bucs matchups?
Lol all things wouldn't be equal. Not only would the coaches change but also the team salary cap would change meaning plus or minus a few contributors.

Of course in a vacuum, you and Simms can play with each other like that.

Just me and Simms? I thought this was a vanilla take that everybody had. Which one is it, son?

Nop, I didn't hear anyone else saying this. Heck, even in this same thread I'm arguing this exact thing with the other guy that said Simms didn't say anything different to what everybody else was saying.
Maybe just say whatever point you're trying to make.

You're seriously starting to sound re ed. (no offense)

My point has been cristal clear since the get go:

Chirs Simms made a couple of great points about Mahomes' legacy that nobody is talking about:

    1) In the three Superbowls he has played, he has had the lesser team.

    2) He just arguably had the greatest individual season for a QB ever.
Not my problem you didn't understand it, tbh.

LMAO. So you need everyone to confirm Simms couple of points instead of just saying..."Yeah, Mahomes is the best."
I seriously don't know what your point is. Maybe I'm re ed for falling for whatever troll job this is.
    Imo, Mahomes is ing awesome.

I really don't know why you got your panties in a bunch, tbh.

I don't need anyone to confirm anything, I just brought it up because I thought he made two very interesting points but that are definitely arguable, so I thought it would spark an interesting debate. I didn't know you and Blake would get it all twisted and start ing about how everyone is sucking Mahomes balls, when that's not the point at all. The point was to argue these two very specific topics, which could be argued either way, and nobody else mentioned up to now: 1) was Mahomes in the lesser team in the 3 SBs he played? And 2) Was this 2022/23 season by him, the best one ever for a QB?

No one had to mention that because everyone already gets it. Do you get pissed off when someone doesn't mention orgasms are great?

For all three super bowls? No that part is just Simms opinion. Especially since KC was favored in two of the three, not sure how Simms can quantify the other two.

The other stuff Simms is saying is vanilla

Dude, do you really still not get it?

Not everybody believes Mahomes played for the lesser team in the 3 SB he was a part of, and not everybody belives this season he had was the best ever for a QB. And I definitely haven't heard anyone else on the media bring these two topics. Not even Nick Wright, who is the biggest KC homer on TV.

Losing a close one is fine, but getting your cheeks clapped in the Super Bowl is an automatic disqualification from GOAT status. Burrow still in the running tbh.
Cheeks clapped as the prohibitive favorite, no less

It’s clearly a re ed take, and it’s also been passed around everywhere in the sports hot take cycle. You and kindred spirit in re edness Chris Simms aren’t alone in being stupid enough to believe it.

It really isn't. You are omitting the very important fact that the only reason the Chiefs were favoured both vs the Niners and Bucs, is Patrick Mahomes.

P/S: Can you link to some of these other folks that said that Mahomes played for the lesser team in the 3 SBs he was a part of?

They were the clear favorite and it wasn’t even close. It’s revisionist history to claim they were the weaker team because Mahomes got his cheeks clapped.

Monday morning I heard Orlovsky/Ryan Clark/Screamin A all proclaiming the exact same “wEaKeR tEaM!” take. It’s a purposely obtuse take that everyone passed around for engagement and clickbait. I’m sorry you were stupid enough to fall for it.

Dude...anyone that knows football has said the you did above. Maybe not exactly but to some degree. Do you need everyone to confirm your two points which everyone already knows? Congrats on the tiest internet win ever if that's the case.

How is being a 3 pts favourite, a "clear" favourite? And 3 pts that only existed because of Mahomes. Switch him and Niners and Bucs become, at least, a TD favourites.
