This has been my observation on Bassey for a while now. Barlow has the same problem with leaving the pick too early for the roll opportunity. The man they are picking doesn't get picked and their defender can stay with them. They may just be trying to avoid the contact on the pick part of the play, but if they are going to play with the big boys, they have to take the contact.
