I felt like a win last night would have tsunami'd into a total collapse and loss of #3.
Like DPG above, still not breathing easy.
Cha definitely has the capability to run the table.
I agree it’s *likely* ok but would love to see another CHA win before the HOU game to feel better. Or to see like a 5 game losing streak from here for SA. Unfortunately Spurs play ATL and WAS in the next 5 games so I see two *potential* wins there since both of those teams are so mid..but no unexpected wins vs MEM/NO/MIL/BOS and losses to both ATL/WAS would definitely seal it.
But wins vs ATL and WAS would likely have things coming down to last few games. Spurs need to get to April 3+ wins back. It they get to April only 2 wins back, then I will be nervous despite April schedule being all teams fighting for or in playoffs.

Joe Wieskamp on the floor for Toronto in garbage time.
Lol @ the Pisstins
Dejounte will want to show out, and Pop will happily allow him to by having the usual extensive injury list. Washington seems to be in the situation we were in last year, in the play in, but trying to straddle that line to not lose too much and fall out of that last spot.
If not for Greg Popovich's atrocious line-up management, we could be fighting for the play-in.
In all seriousness, I get the feeling that Pop fully understands the assignment, and is out to win as many games as he can and still finish #3. If he gets within a game of Charlotte, we might see big starter minutes for Julian Champagnie, etc.
MEM thinking they could beat a healthy Spurs…this isnt HOU/CHA/DET boys, this is a good team. Going ahead and inviting you to the Spurs win again (5th win) after party since this one is a lock
If Spur continue to win as CHA loses, especially SA picking up wins vs “good teams” on the SOS meter, I continue to say there’s a real chance SA finishes 4th (disaster). CHA has zero incentive to win and Pop will continue to play these healthy guys enough and they basically win every game they play healthy![]()
Pop is using the full roster and letting them play against good teams, as long as there is a cushion. It’s a morale builder, but he’ll shut down if the cushion disappears.
That cushion is only 3 games and SA has some very winnable games coming up. Unless CHA wins, it looks like SA heads into April only 1 or 2 back of CHA. Thats not a cushion IMO
I can definitely see the Spurs drop too four. Absolutely.
So do we have the source of the problem yet?
It’s four games in the win column, which is all that matters. They can’t unwin extra games that they’ve played.
I was saying if Sa wins tonight it’s 3. But Sochan gets hurt and Sa back to being short handed. Finish it MEM
I told ya. Pop understands the assignment. He's just keeping off Silver's tank radar.
It takes a HOF coach to blow a 29 point lead in a game you need to lose. Pop shows how he truly is the GOAT game after game. And this isn't even sarcasm.
I pulled out every jinx I could in here including a pre scoff and invite to celebrate the win first quarter. Man that was close. Unfortunately it took Sochan getting hurt to even go to OT. Spurs are playing solid ball even remotely healthy.
I think SA wins if Sochan plays…
Spurs cannot survive any front court injuries. They are razor thin man. KBD and Sochan hurt was nail in the proverbial coffin
I expect Sochan to be out for awhile.
They won't be in any hurry to get him back playing.
Reverse Jinx MASTER
I'm a schroedinger's fan tonight...both simultaneously exstatic that we lost and furious that we lost because I cannot stand Memphis and specifically D Brooks.
No you were just wrong. Been wrong a lot lately.
Lmao what? They have won 4 games when I said they would win at least 5 rest of the season - how is that wrongSilly man
