japan has the lowest homicide rate on the planet and you cannot purchase a handgun or rifle there.
    based and true

i dont think there is a single definition of "armed society" that would include japan. you are asking if norway fits, for example. that would depend on what your definition of armed society is. whatever it is, im certain japan wouldnt apply

I agree with you that Japan could not be considered an armed society. Would a country that ranks top 20 in the world for guns owned per capita fit the definition of an armed society?

You googled a bible verse to compare armed people to the devil, I'm not sure your endorsement is all that valuable.

Since you won't give a definition of an armed society, anyone can just say no.

Honduras: 14% ownership; 68 per 100k homicide rate. Mexico: 13% ownership; 10 per 100k homicide rate. Switzerland: 27% ownership; 0.5 per 100k homicide rate.

US has highest ownership rate; 5 per 100k homicide rate.

The US is an armed democracy.
We can start from there. Numbers of guns available per capita in a country as big as ours... Its stupid to quibble over the rest imo.
We set a standard none can match. And we prove it over and over again. We have a gun lobby that profits from that has saturated our country.
they appease the paranoid "they are after me, I will be molested" to the "my gun is my penis" to the "what if the government comes to my home and I dont like the government"
The reasons for owning enough guns to start a small invasion gets into the weird psychology spread to a bunch of diff irrational paranoid types. And we know now its a good number of people in the US. Oh I forgot they are going to take my AK fear. Now that this weapon is in vogue.

I completely agree with TSA and Qhris that we should live in a social democracy with stringent gun regulations like Norway.

Chrissy Christian's list is laughable compared to the US when you look at total number of guns and numbers of people.
And guns available to Joe Citizen to buy upon little to zero criteria.

    Bolded eliminates Chrissy.
Find another or better yet... Chrissy should stop posting bible verses.
Also Chrissy should learn some type of self defense that involves his hands.
