i understand it because he's done it before. it's not hard to figure it out, except the far right column is closest analogue by WAR. basically jones is a bargain, wesley is top 5 worse and doug is the worse value by contract.

I think it is better not to read too much into RAPTOR for first year players. RAPTOR doesn't fully separate individual performance from that of the team and when a bad player plays in a really bad team, RAPTOR only makes that player even worse. I find the other stat LEBRON to be more accurate in that respect. RAPTOR does relatively better with analysing players with some experience, is what I feel.
