Eagles... blue chip... Jalen Carter.
Floor: Timmy Jernigan
Ceiling: Aaron Donald
Likely: Javon Hargrave (the pro bowl DT they just lost in free agency for $21 Million per year)
Bears draft Darnell Wright, offensive tackle, 10th overall.
lefty20 the Bears were always drafting an O-lineman. Not Jalen Carter. Monsters of the Midway is over... the team is Justin Fields. By far their biggest flaw for a long time running has been OL. Hopefully he pans out and isn't another first round bust lineman.

Would've still preferred to take Carter over getting an extra 4th rounder next year.
Hopefully JF's play will make the upgraded protection worth it.
Lions the bed by taking... RUNNING BACK... Gibbs. 12th overall. Like, why? The offense is already very good. They need to drastically improve their defense. They're still the best team in the North IMO, but that kind of move sets a franchise back at least a bit.
And hopefully Darnell Wright is better than the likes of past tackles, like, Massey, Leno, et al who were never very good.
so many awful moves in this draft
Packers on the clock at 13. Should seriously consider taking Will Levis. I don't think Jordan Love is an NFL caliber starter (he's a solid backup) and he's only got one year left plus an option either.
well, Will Hunting, at least there is one place, officially, for a black guy named Gibbs in Michigan.
Probably. But a part of me felt obligated to defend the pick a little because he's that special and it's not his fault the value of the RB position has plummeted.
Packers overdrafting a bigger 3-4 DE... he's not gonna be Clay Matthews, he's def going to be more Dean Lowry than a Matthews type. Definitely a 2nd round pick and a big time reach for a team and franchise that's rapidly going down the ter.
IMO, drafting Levis was a no brainer for them. Drafting 2nd round talent Lukas Van Ness at 13th overall is a D- at best pick.
People said these exact things about Zeke.
And they were vindicated after 2016...
But it was all downhill from there.
Similar goes for Leonard Fournette the very next year... 2017... who had one stellar year and an even worse career than Zeke, though he did win a championship ring as a committee back with the Bucs.
Awful.
Just signed Montgomery and still have Swift.
>>>> TRADE <<<<
Steelers acquire 14th pick from Patriots, draft an OK offensive tackle at 14th, Broderick Jones. Not super impressed with him either. "C" grade pick, especially considering the trade-up. Yes they need to rebuild the o-line but not the best draft for that.
The draft is so heavy at certain positions like DT and TE and so light at others like exterior offensive linemen.
Exactly. That's not a BPA pick; that's just a stupid pick. they would have been smart to keep their original pick and take Jalen Carter. Generational DT to pair with Aidan Hutchinson which would make that a ferocious d-line.
No receivers of any kind off the board yet. I guess all the good receivers were taken the past 3 years.
Will McDonald off the board to the Jets. Rodgers probably wanted a receiver, but McDonald is a good player... but he's a tweener like a present day Micah Parsons. Will the Jets play 3-4 and let him rush the passer (his best strength), or will they keep the 4-3 in place and relegate him to off ball linebacker duty? That's the question.
"B" pick for the Jets imo... could be a Myles Jack or Jaylon Smith but could be a Micah Parsons.
If Will Levis somehow falls to Dallas, I hope we take him
You know we are in bizarro world when Houston made one of the better moves
Redskins/Commanders take Emmanuel Forbes... 2nd round corner, IMO.
Houston the bed at #2 then responded by taking potentially the next Von Miller at #3.
Christian Gonzalez... another Byron Jones type. More athlete than player. 2nd round IMO. Patriots continue to the bed in the draft.
Detroit selects Jack Campbell at #18 overall ... I like that pick for the Lions ... linchpail mike linebacker, won't be a pass rusher but the best off ball linebacker in the draft and Dan Campbell's kind of guy. A- selection after an F+ earlier pick in Gibbs.
Ceiling: Luke Kuechly
Floor: Paul Posluszny
Likely: Leighton Vander Esch before the injuries
Why? They are gonna suck either way and can probably draft a better one next year
