You shouldn't argue whether Jokic is deserving of being a three time consecutive MVP. You should only consider whether he deserves it this season or not. You shouldn't not give it to him because you don't want him to win three straight. It's just bad logic. He either deserves it for this season or doesn't deserve it for this season, this season only.

I hate how the media votes MVP based on whose turn it is. Like Jordan didn't deserve the MVP every year he played a full season from 87 through 98. Also how we got Karl Malone over Tim Duncan in 1999 and Allen Iverson over Shaq in 2001.

Sounds like they're attempting to go the "mature" route. The lack of composure and the fact they didn't really get anything worth the trash talk + the lack of accountability and availability by the league mandated availability were probably the final straw. I'm guessing they were out on him due to the FA and the level of contribution vs. headaches he causes. I think the bridge was burned. He'll find a landing space in the NBA, but he has to develop more in terms of his game and not his mouth/antics.
