I do think Ham may have found something with the three guard line-up of D’lo, Reeves, and Schroeder. He didn’t use it a lot. But it felt like a good match-up at both ends since Kerr is often playing three guards. It’s a good counter. And maybe he uses it more going forward. Maybe that’s also why Lonnie got a few minutes last night, more of a guard than Troy Brown and even Vanderbilt, which helps at both ends against GS.

Last night, I thought D’lo hitting those early three threes was huge. It prevented the Warriors from getting out to a big lead early and made them have to work a little harder on defense, esp Klay fighting thru picks. Davis played really well obviously. But LeBron also seemed to have a lot more energy than previous games. I think game 4 decides the winner of the series.

Obviously a ton of respect for warriors
Like Jam I think winner of game 4 likely wins series but even then Warriors have pulled off a 3-1 comeback before
I predicted State in 7 with my head but rooting for lakers in 6 with my heart …
I really hope I am wrong, but usually I am right.

WarriorRef was virtually muted in Game 3.

Seriously doubt their MVP gets held down the entire series.

The second tech rope they allow Draymond is wild.
I don’t want him ejected from key playoff games - but if I’m a player and I get tech or ejected for less than they allow Draymond to get away with I’m pissed - it’s not fair to other players.

Does Embiid even have any go-to moves? He doesn't seem to have any moves that command a double team that can get his team a bucket or setup in the clutch, as truly dominant centers do.

If the 76ers didn't win this game, they were obviously done in 5. The trickle down effect would have been Rivers fired (probably replaced by Morey's buddy, unethical Nurse), Harden back to the Rockets and Embiid's immediate future possibly in doubt.

All still in play obviously, but at least by making it a long series (they're still going to lose) they're not givens.

Embiid is the most skilled legit 7-footer (the usual suspects, such as Olajuwon, Duncan and now Jokic are 6'11'' in shoes; he's 7'2'') in NBA history, taking the belt from Pau Gasol (7'1'').

There's no question he quaked down the stretch of this game though and is fortunate Harden delivered arguably his greatest playoff performance ever to eke it out.

He's a great offensive player in general who can score in a variety of ways, but he doesn't control the flow of the game like the great ones do. He always looks a little out of control with the ball, like he's either going to make a crazy shot or draw a foul. That's not what you want in your star center. You need a guy with a small set of reliable moves he can go to any time when you need points at critical moments. Embiid doesn't have a consistently unstoppable move.

That's gonna be awful if Jokic gets suspended for interacting with the fan/owner.

The question is, how can the commissioner justify not punishing him?

I suspect the league wants Durant to advance. So this works out perfectly for them.

Didn't watch the game so I've only seen highlights of the incident. But didn't Ishbia hold onto the ball refusing to let it go? And then Jokic was right, Ishbia put his hands on him first. And the "shove" was incredibly exaggerated. Don't even think it'd be talked about as a potential suspension if the fan was a nobody.

Who knows what Silver does, but didn't look like a suspension worthy thing. It wasn't like he was about to come to blows with Ishbia or any other fan. Not really confrontational. Draymond screaming at Kings fans was more confrontational and he didn't touch anybody. Joker just wanted to get the ball.

I suspect they fine Jokic and probably fine Ishbia too.

Kenny and Shaq acting like Jokic would have acted differently if he knew who the guy holding the ball was really revealed how deep their innate American sense of bootlicking goes.

There was never any chance Jokic was going to suck up to a rich asshole just because he happens to own an NBA team.

    Warrior Slurper announcer Van Gundy.
after Looney basically intentionally fouls on a layup drive he was flat out of position on.

"Looney probably gets away with a foul there but but but good defense."
