Short skirts ruined western civilization, a thread.
Woodfill’s deposition came as part of an ongoing, six-year-old lawsuit in which a former member of Pressler’s church youth group accuses him of decades of rape beginning when he was 14. The suit also accuses Woodfill and others, including leaders of the Southern Baptist Convention, of concealing and enabling Pressler’s behavior — claims that prompted a 2019 Houston Chronicle and San Antonio Express-News investigation into widespread sexual abuse in the SBC, the nation’s second-largest faith group.
Released over the last few weeks, the thousands of pages of new court records show how Woodfill leaned on his Pressler connections to bolster his political and legal career — despite warnings about his law partner’s behavior. And they shed new light on how Pressler, a former Texas Court of Appeals judge and one-time White House nominee under George H.W. Bush, allegedly used his prestige and influence to evade responsibility amid repeated accusations of sexual misconduct and assault dating back to at least 1978, when he was forced out of a Houston church for allegedly molesting a teenager in a sauna.

Satanic panic levels of hysteria.
Zero drag queens were involved in the grooming.
https://julieroys.com/chi-alpha-camp...ender-decades/For over two decades, Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, a college ministry in Texas affiliated with the Assemblies of God, has allowed a registered sex offender to attend meetings and prey on students, raping or sexually assaulting at least 13 men, whistleblowers say. They add that the man’s pattern of grooming and inappropriate behavior was reported to the group’s state and national leadership, but the ministry leaders did nothing, despite repeated calls to do so.

https://twitter.com/BrynnTannehill/status/1657025792767938560...like it or not, we live in a pluralistic society that is growing more secular and diverse. Attempting to force Americans to live in a society where your religious beliefs determine what others can and cannot do or read, is bound to not only fail, but lead to strife.
What feels like persecution to some, is in reality just people pushing back against (and disliking) a particular brand of Christian theology becoming the de facto national religion and basis for all law, regardless of what the majority wants.
Ironically, back in the "good old 50's" that the MAGA crowd yearns for, people's religious beliefs were considered a private matter. It was considered rude in polite society to broadcast them.
If organized Christianity in the US continues to fade away in the US, it will be because younger generations don't like what it has represents, and what it has become, not because of any governmental interference or sinister plot by secularists.
In the end analysis, this isn't persecution. They're losing "market share" and looking for a scapegoat to feel like something external it so blame, rather than considering that what they have is a problem with branding and younger people not liking their product.
Religion as a fig leaf for bigotry, raised to principle and enshrined as law.
Florida SB 1580 creates a belief-based pretext for doctors to deny care to patients.
When did antigay bigotry become the core of Christian belief?

Coaches, pastors, police and teachers outside the home. Most groomers are family members or family acquaintances.
AFAIK, there are zero outstanding cases of child sexual abuse involving storytellers in drag.
https://abc7.com/santa-monica-settle...ller/13189971/Santa Monica will pay $122.5 million to 124 people who alleged they suffered sexual abuse as children at the hands of a former city employee who volunteered with the Police Activities League, attorneys said Wednesday.
The settlement, approved Tuesday night by the Santa Monica Council, brings to nearly $230 million the total amount paid by the city to resolve legal claims brought against the city over the alleged actions of Eric Uller, who killed himself in 2018 after being charged with various molestation counts.
"This was a sad chapter in the city's history," Santa Monica Mayor Gleam Davis said at the meeting. "Our hearts do go out to each and every one of the victims and we hope and pray this will never happen again."
The plaintiffs say Uller sexually abused them as children when he volunteered with the Police Activities League.
Uller was arrested in 2018 for allegedly molesting boys as early as the 1980s. He was found dead months later of an apparent suicide.
Imagine not realizing the Religion of Woke already replaced and banned books. I don't see Christians today tearing down statues or using state funds to paint crosses on street walkways.
Congrats on getting equal on what Religion did atleast a generation ago. You are no different. Both are .
Sorry, which books did woke ban?
Btw, civil rights for everyone isn't a religion, it's a fundamental promise of the founding.
There are a number of books banned because muh racism.
Everyone and their pet has civil rights in 2023 USA. If anything stupidity and obnoxiousness is too excused in this country.
One is more likely to be molested by a Republican politician than a drag queen.
as the MAGA movement so aptly demonstrates.
name them
gay people aren't pets, sweetie
Hitler in Mein Kampf talks about similar influences in the zeitgeist. Is that perhaps one of the books you are lamenting isn't taught in literature any more?
"OKLAHOMA CITY — The phrase “In God we trust” soon may greet visitors entering county and municipal buildings across the state.
Senate Bill 949, which is inching closer to becoming law, gives county and municipal leaders the option to use taxpayer money to erect displays of the national motto in prominent locations in any county or municipal buildings. The bill requires the placement and size of the display align with the display at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center. That engraved display is about 4 feet tall and 70 feet wide....

Frost King couldn't name one. Just making up, as usual.
Between 1500 BC and 400 BC
