One thing I don’t often hear discussed is the role of endocrine disruptors in the environment in increasing the prevalence of gender dysphoria in the population. I thought the science was settled on that 20 years ago, which is why “BPA-free” products became a thing. But phthalates are still ubiquitous.
My perception is that the progressive activists are more interested in presenting transgenderism as existential. Discussion of transgenderism being caused by an environmental toxin might imply that there is something wrong with being transgender.
There’s also the fringe theory line about the gender binary being tied to white supremacy, capitalism, etc. and overturning it to potentially deliver utopian Revolution. Again, that is FRINGE, does not represent mainstream liberal thought.
My point is, if some, even many, cases of transgenderism are mutations caused by environmental toxins, which again I understand to have been settled science for decades, what is the rationale for denying care, even to children?
Aside from trannyism, any progress being made on how to remove phtalates from the human body?
