He is having trouble finding lawyers that will represent him.
Given all of his legal troubles, he will need an army of competent lawyers to defend him. He is going to get the dregs, and that has consequences in the courtroom.

On the merits, the case is easy.

There is no reason not to put that in the charging papers. If they had that on him, you’d bet your ass it would have its own charge. If they don’t have it yet but are still investigating, they wouldn’t have moved forward with the indictment yet so they could have it all in one go
