Duncan was, nobody was like he was
Duncan won a rare lone star championship in '03, but like '94 Olajuwon and '11 Nowitzki, they still had other creators, even if they were either too young/inexperienced (Cassell, Parker, Ginobili) or old (Kidd, Terry).

The '99 Spurs were probably the best example of lacking a perimeter creator(s), but they obviously had a second star in Robinson.

that guard play for the mets is atrocious. i can't see how hugo besson would even get close to even having a two-way contract with the bucks. he's a turnover machine and a sieve on the defensive end.

It was a very good game from Victor and Mets. They just run out of gas in the 4th quarter.

What is scary about Victor is that he hasn't a single true flaw. All of his mistakes/weaknesses look likes ones that will naturally be fixed in a couple of years. He is really something special.

Besson is coming back from a hip surgery and is clearly out of shape. He may never be NBA material but he is surely better than what he is showing in these playoffs.

when he has an actual team around him, those assist numbers will be great as he has a great instinct to pass out of the double and triple teams. looking at him today was just a great example of how he has so many tantalizing skills and physical traits. it will be great to watch his growth during the season.

yeah, i heard them reference the surgery in the telecast and couldn't help but wonder what he was like before because this current player would not capture the interest of any NBA team.

METS92 played a lot better today and came close to pulling it off. Hopefully they show out when they play at Roland Garros

I struggle to understand what METS92 gameplan is, since it clearly isn't centered around getting the ball to their best player.

One thing I noticed about Victor: he tends to crouch/bend/contort his body in weird ways when setting screens, which I could see resulting in him drawing a lot of offensive fouls in the NBA. He needs to learn to stand tall and straight when setting picks.

Yeah but still a scrub. He's unthlatetic, slow, can't really pass, can't drive but somehow can shoot the 3 if wide open. He's a small, useless Matt Bonner minus the muscles... He can't even set properly Victor and you're scared everytime he brings the ball up the court. I wouldn't sign him as a ball boy.

until he naturally bulks up a bit, he kinds has to make sure he's not keeping his center of gravity too high

I might be tripping but I think I saw the exact same post Bruno made somewhere else under a video highlight, maybe PopTheGOAT is referring to that (I'm guessing the username of the guy who made that comment was "eric").

his closeouts arent the best either, but god the kid is 19 and long AF, so fixable.

if theres truly no weaknesses and its just natural growth is all he needs...

They had slashing point guards and Elie and JJ who could really shoot. Very little overlap of skills, tbh. But Robinson could slash and his jumper was money. He served the purpose perfectly alongside Timmy.

Why aren't the Spurs / other NBA teams interested in drafting Monaco team members?

Because they are? Or because they are all 27 and scouts figure they've peaked?

2 of them have already played on the Spurs (Donatas Motiejunas & Jaron Blossomgame)
